Interesting, the lithium. Acne is not a rare side effect of lithium use I've heard. Also this is the first time I heard she was wrapped in gauze, so the burn wounds must have been fresh. In every recon she is pictured with wavy hair. Sometimes a bit longer then the original. Was there ever something said about it, f.i. if it was natural or perm? I think she is the perfect candidate for genealogical DNA research. I hope they know where her body is buried or they kept the clothing/gauze.

it's possible, but estranged husband + recently gave birth = he probably killed her, just going by the statistics.

Unfortunately, a substantial amount of evidence was mishandled, and not admissible in court. He refused a polygraph test. I'm her neice, and truly would like to see her case solved in this lifetime. Dr. Phil wanted to air her story, but my uncle refused to participate. Montel Williams did air it with Sylvia Brown, but once again, my uncle refused to go. He's got a new family now and moved far away from Oregon, estranged from his blood relatives. Actions say everything. Truth.

Hi guys ! I’m new here, my name is Vee. “Miss Love”’s case has really caught my interest. There are a few things I’ve been considering in this case.
1. I believe Doe was under the age of 18 possibly 15-17 years of age and she lied about being 18
*(Acne and the fact we have her DOB but can’t find anybody missing that matches her DOB, time frame, and description)

1.5. If she isn’t under age, I’m wondering if drug use is why she had acne which leads to my next point
*(Recreational drug use can result in acne)

2. I believe she was using an alias
(Faloan S. Love) and was possibly a prostitute
*(Unemployed)

3. I believe if she did live at those apartments, she was not living there alone *(Unemployed)
(Side note; Do we know if police went to the Young Apartments and asked the residents or office manager if they recognized her ? Did police try to find a signed lease that matched her DOB ?)
If the answers to those questions are yes, then we can establish she was definitely staying with somebody. This might also point towards her being underage too.

4. I believe she was in the foster care system and ran away
4.5. If my assumption with #4 is correct I then wonder if Ben Misa was the brother of a foster parent or adoptive parent and she called him Uncle?

I know some of these could sound like stretches, but I’m trying to open avenues we haven’t yet considered. I hope my considerations help !

You are correct. She went to a hospital (I can’t recall which one but I believe it was in the Ft Lauderdale/Miami area) to be treated for motorcycle burn wounds. She gave them the fake name Faloan S Love and a fake birthdate of I believe June 1st 1961. She still had the gauze on her wounds when she was found so she was treated not long before she was found.

I submitted Tammy Surdam as a potential match about 2 weeks ago , I am beyond disappointed it is not her. Everything lined up perfectly and they even look alike ! Ugh. Back to the grind I guess !

Yes, Tina Kemp was 14 at the time of her disappearance and reportedly 5'1" when she went missing on February 3, 1979 but it's possible her height was wrong and/or she might have had a growth spurt in the meantime.

Not sure if this is helpful, or how these ideas connect, but out-of-the-box thinking is probably the only thing we have at this point.

1. Could "Ben Misa" be a Hebrew last name? "Ben" means "son of" and "Misha" is the Russian short form of "Michael," so "son of Michael"?

2. If she was Jewish, could her given Hebrew name be Ahava, meaning "Love"? Or if it was "Sheba," as she claimed, could her name have actually been Elisheva, the Hebrew form of "Elizabeth"?

3. Following this line of thinking, is Faloan related to the Hebrew word peloni, meaning "so-and-so"? It's cognate with Arabic fulana, which led to Spanish fulana, both meaning the same, though in feminine form. It also exists in other languages with a pronunciation closer to "Faloan." Was this her way of saying "My name's So-and-So?"

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I feel like there's an ethnic connection here that needs exploring.

Judith Bleiler - she went missing from Brockton, MA on Sept 16,1977 - her mom dropped her off at a bus stop. Maybe she ran away or was kidnapped? Just a thought?
