Circumstances of Disappearance
Sermons was last seen in Lakeland, Florida on May 3, 1992.

She attended a rodeo during the evening hours with Elwin Lawrence Costine Jr. (nicknamed "Larry") in Dade City, Florida.

Around 02.00, Larry and Jo went to breakfast with a friend. It is believed they arrived back at his trailer around 04:15 Sunday morning. Authorities determined that Sermons never returned to her own Lakeland residence after the date. She has never been seen again.

Both of Sermons and Costine's families filed missing persons' reports with law enforcement when they failed to locate them by the following day.

Costine was discovered deceased inside of his trailer home on Moore Road in Lakeland on May 5, 1992, two days after he and Sermons were last seen. He was a victim of homicide. One of Larry’s guns was missing, however there was no sign of a struggle or robbery. There was no trace of Sermons inside Costine's residence.

Foul play is suspected in her case. Costine's murder remains unsolved as well.

Have you double checked distance from each other's location and if she is not on rule out list by any chance?

Even for skeletal remains resemblance is striking. Jane Doe was wearing big size skirt and big size pullover, which would jive with Leslie's Moak 170 lbs weight. It is also mentioned that Jane Doe had very small size of lips in comparison to size of her head which Leslie again seems to have. Would be good to find out if Leslie had veneers as Jane Doe did.

Definitely worth submission in my humble opinion.

Edit: Just to add even type of necklace which Leslie is wearing is similar type what Jane Doe had. shrug.. Please do submit and keep us updated.

I hope you don't mind me saying it but I am really skeptical about above. While there are quite often mistakes in estimation data of skeletal remains there is almost zero chance that child's remains would be mistaken for elderly woman's remains. (Due to children's bones not being fully grown and connected at that age yet). To add Jane Doe vaneers ruling her out straight away.

Your probably right. Either Martha was kidnapped by strangers or she was killed on accident by her brother.

Please also submit to LE who is in charge of Leslie's Moak case. It is always good to submit to both. Higher chance that one of the two will look into it or even get back to you with feedback.

They have her estimated year of death as 1992-2005. Remains discovered in 2012. My question is: what is this based on? 13 years is a large span of time...yet very specific no earlier than and no later than years.
1992 was Hurricane Andrew (which I lived through) so I am sure that a ton of downed trees and foliage was cleared out of that area so if she wasn't found then, I get no earlier than 1992. But why no later than 2005? She wasn't discovered until 2012 so how do they know it wasn't 2007 or 2009? Condition of remains? Maybe the veneers?

To answer an earlier question: Bill Baggs is a State Park so definitely not tribal land.
