Take the case of a white woman found on Interstate 95 near Miami Gardens Drive on Feb. 7, 2020. She’d been hit by a car. The woman was 5-foot-5, 137 pounds, with short reddish-brown hair.

Her tattoos were distinct: two skulls on her right chest, a unicorn and the name “Paula” on her left chest. She had a dove and heart inked on her left arm, a snake on her left thigh. A tattoo of flowers encircled her left wrist. On her right ankle: the name “Ray.”

Those are very distinct tattoos. I wonder if her photo was shown around the area if anyone would recognize her. It’s only been 2 years.

I actually have an ID suggestion that would be a long shot, but it's really nagging at me...
Tracy Lynn Florez was last seen in Norman OK in 2005, at 33 years old (she would be 50 now). She has blond/strawberry hair, blue eyes, multiple piercings in each ear, and a unicorn tattoo on her upper left chest.
Considering 15 years would have passed... does anyone think a facial resemblance is there?

similarities i see: similarnose shape (I have to consider that the postmortem photo is not taken face-forward exactly), nose that deviates to the right, high cheek bones, straight across eyebrows, ginger hair, hollowing of the temples adjacent to the eyebrows
differences i see: Tracy has blue eyes while UIDs are brown, cannot find evidence of Tracy having freckles, lobule of ear is...flappier on UID

I don't think that's a postmortem of the decedent. She wouldn't be likely to be wearing the pink blouse. I wonder if that's from before she died? It doesn't look like a reconstruction.

IMO it's a composite image - it's a postmortem photo that they've edited to appear like her eyes are open (that's why the eyes appear 'off' and lifeless), like she's wearing a shirt, and background has been removed. You can sort of tell because her hair looks like it's falling backwards, as she is lying down.
They've been getting more and more popular with LE because it's appropriate enough to be shown to the public, and looks the most like the person did in life.
Just realized I said facial recon in the title I'll ask mods to fix.

I sent the suggestion to both NamUs correspondents and got the automatic 'thank you for your suggestion' emails. Nothing since then, and Tracy Lynn hasn't been added as a rule-out. No new rule-outs since Feb.

Where did you see that this MP had a unicorn tattoo? Looking at the pictures side by side I do not think that they are the same person, however, I hope that a proper comparison/rule out was made.
Going back to the MP, how exactly does one disappear with six dogs? Something about that story doesn't add up to me.

I went back and reread her thread and there is actually nothing stating that Paula the MP has a unicorn tattoo. (I was reading too quickly the first time and confused the information in Paula's thread about Jane-Doe for Paula herself.) So that is a mistake on my part, sorry.

The stats between the two do line up enough to warrant a comparison for sure. One thing that always gives me pause when comparing MPs and UIDs is when there is a big gap of time in between, in this case some 25 years. But, on the other hand, people can drop off the proverbial grid...most definitely has happened before.
