Circumstances of Recovery On January 05, 2024, an independent dive team discovered a car, a 1983 Plymouth Reliant in a canal at SW 51st ST & SW 131st AVE. The vehicle was pulled out and a single bone was found in the backseat. The car was transported to MEO.
Condition of Remains Not recognizable - Partial skeletal parts only
Hair Color Unknown
Left Eye Color Unknown
Right Eye Color Unknown
Other No clothing / chip coin (possible poker coin)
Near the Body

Maybe they have already determined this is her, but it hasn't been finalized yet?

Yes, this is going to be her. Apparently it isn't official yet though. Even though she explicitly expressed precisely what she was going to do, it took some 38 years to find her. The canals down here don't divulge their secrets too easily. This particular one I have driven by countless times.
The sonar teams doing this work are heroes in every sense of the word!
