If they have an xray or imprint of his jaw, then the trauma wouldn't be as extensive on his head, around his mouth area. Teeth hold DNA for along time so they could do genetic genealogy at some point. The clothing possibly from another country makes me think this person will be difficult to ID otherwise.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to add that I think the tattoo of the creature is actually a Kewpie doll.

So, going way way way out on a limb: airplane stowaway that fell out of a wheel well?
It was my first thought too. And, apparently, our John Doe was in fact a stowaway.

The article is in Spanish and I will translate it later, but here are the main points in the article:

- A 17 year old boy found the body when he was leaving for school at about 6.35 AM.

- Neighbours heard a "slam" at about 6.00 AM

-When the homicide detectives arrived at the scene, there were body parts everywhere.

-An ex-paratrooper said the body reached a velocity of 120 mph when it touched the ground.

-The victim's hands, back and chest were covered in "plane oil".

-Autopsy revealed the man was already dead when he reached the ground.

Wow! Thanks for finding and posting these articles. Guess it wasn't too far out of a theory after all! I seem to remember there were quite a few airplane stowaways in that era...some of whom actually survived!
What a shame that he was never identified. I wonder if the visiting Argentine officer ever followed up with the fingerprints. Also wonder if MDPD still has his prints. With better technology available now it might be easier to compare/match prints.

I hope this was circulated across Argentina!

There were quite a few, I remember another also in south Florida I believe, where a stowaway fell from a plane. I think igg us being done on that one and he was likely from an island nation in the Caribbean.
