I was a very close friend to Michelle. She was truly amazing and everyone close to her is devastated by this. She loved life and absolutely would have never committed suicide. <modsnip> Thank you all for caring.

Hi and welcome! I'm so sorry for your loss. She looks like a beautiful soul. <modsnip> I hope justice is served soon.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Michelle seemed like a really loving person, I'm so impressed by all she did for homeless kids (in multiple cities!). Hopefully the person responsible is brought swiftly to justice.

Her mother had not heard from her in a week and asked the police to do a welfare check, which is when they found her. The smell was apparent in the vicinity of the apartment, but persons who had walked by the area attributed it to the smell of garbage, because there is a garbage chute beside the apartment.

From her IG, it seems as if she also works (worked?) in a club.

My wife knows her from Club Eleven in Miami. <modsnip> My wife said she had a beautiful soul and was very kind.

Thanks for posting. Everyone has nothing but kinds word to say about this young lady - what a tragedy. I feel so bad for her mom, family and all of her loved ones. It's truly heartbreaking that someone's life can be taken like this. Not knowing who did this or what what happened has to make her death that much harder for everyone. This has to be horrific for her family and friends. I can't imagine the heartache. I pray for justice and closure for everyone.

Darn, I was hoping to see a verified insider on this thread. There's nothing in the news and I haven't come across any chatter on SM either. Let's hope LE has solid leads or they know who's responsible.

My guess is that this poor girl's car is in one of the countless bodies of water in and around Miami. Not knowing where to look it would be hard to find. Not sure why it would need to be disposed of however. Perhaps there was evidence in it that someone wanted to disappear, but I am having a hard time connecting the dots to make a scenario that would make sense. I am just heartsick for all who loved her, and the countless others who would have benefitted from her presence in this world.
