For the friend that was commenting. I'm too lazy to go back and find your name. Had you or anyone you know, tried to contact Michelle in the days she was missing?

Still nothing! I can't believe this just fell off the map. Has LE ever released a cause of death?

No. Nothing that I'm aware of.

Given that there has been zero written, do you think they ruled it an overdose or suicide and out of respect for the family didn't announce it? It's over a year later and nothing at all.

That had never crossed my mind. But wasn't her car missing?

Yeah her car is/was missing. I haven't seen any updates.

Same, I have been looking. If she left her car and walked home or got a ride home, it may have been towed and not missing in the sense of stolen. I just don't understand why no updates. The last news articles said they were waiting on results from the medical examiner and then nothing for over a year.

I think the answer may be something like you described above. As for her car, somehow it disappeared, it may be in water nearby, or maybe it was driven far from FL

i suspect this could be true as well. maybe her car was stolen but its unrelated.

Maybe the car was repossessed just prior and no one knew that except Michelle prior to whatever happened to her. It would make sense if this was a suicide.

Oh dear. Could be. And if so, it didn't sound like anyone had any inkling why the car was missing. If that is the case, it makes me terribly sad.

I still think a crime was committed. Why else would the cops have issued the statement that they were looking for her car?

Amazing that we know nothing else.

I still can’t find any updates.

Thanks for info. How was she involved, can you please explain that a bit more? I haven’t read a lot about her so please bear with me if it has been told before.

Based on what others have told me she was paid for certain services by a high ranking member of the drug cartel in Miami. She had threatened to expose certain things in return for more money and sadly this didn’t end well for her. She was funny and giving. She did use the money she had for good and donated a lot to charity in her home town. Her family continues in the philanthropy to this day.

If she was making that much money dealing with the drug cartel, what was she doing working at Waste Management? That doesn't make sense.

Sometimes there's a lot of potential for shady characters in that business, if I'm not mistaken.

Working with organized crime doesn't guarantee a consistent paycheck. It's not like the movies. It also doesn't always pay enough to justify quitting a day job. On a lower level, the pay may be equivalent to working a second job. There are also several jobs that can be done as one-offs, or just jobs that happen infrequently. Working for organized crime very rarely results in a lavish lifestyle.
