TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Tallahassee Police Department’s Special Victims Unit is looking for a missing 38-year-old woman.

Michelle McFatter was last seen on Tuesday in the area of East Indian Head Drive in Tallahassee. McFatter was last seen wearing a yellow sweater and a black and white skirt.

She is 5’06”, weighs 145 pounds, with light brown hair and brown eyes

TPD says McFatter may be driving a 2009 silver Volkswagon Tiguan (SUV) displaying Florida Tag GPBJ82.

Anyone with information is asked to call TPD at (850) 606-5800.

I wonder what prompted someone to report Michelle as missing so quickly?

Good question - must be more details that have not been released like a medical condition they don't want publicized, domestic violence, etc. It must be serious tho because typically 24 hours passes before anyone truly gets involved. Hope they find her safe tonight.

The area is very populated to the north end of East Indian Head Drive. Lots of businesses with cameras no doubt. The other end is residential with a very sharp curve. I hope they’re looking for tire tracks there. There is a park but no large bodies of water.
