For your information: I came across a newspaper article from 1984 about Broward County investigators who believed that Michelle was a victim of Christopher Wilder and tossed around the idea that she may be UP1276, found in Broward County in 1982.

Their theory could not be proven back then as her dental records were destroyed when her dentist closed his practise. One specific matching detail between Michelle and the UP was a scar under the right breast.

I just wrote an email to the Broward County Sheriff, asking if they were ever checked against each other now that DNA is available. I'll keep you updated.

What a young lady... if she went out with a drug trafficker it is very likely that she would end up dead or at least in bad condition but in my opinion everyone does what they want... what bothers me is that she was a minor who with the help of good parents would not It would have ended like this... and cowardly the boyfriend escaped to South America...

According to news articles, Michelle's mother (and an investigator) believed her daughter was a 1982 Jane Doe. It was apparently during an investigation to see if Michelle was The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) when it was determined her dental records had been destroyed.

I don't know that any comparison has ever been done, but Michelle is not included in the public exclusions. Noting the estimated PMI on this Jane Doe is listed as 2 weeks.
