Lee County Sheriff's Office Press Release: LCSO Searching for Missing St. James City Man

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is seeking community assistance in an attempt to locate a 67-year-old male from St. James City.

Milton Crocker (DOB 08/18/1951) has been missing since December 24, 2018. He does not have access to a vehicle or a phone.

Mr. Crocker is 6'3" in height, weighs approximately 200 pounds and has blue eyes. It is unknown what he was wearing when last seen.

Milton Crocker may be depressed and considering self-injury. If located, please call the Lee County Sheriff's Office at (239) 477-1000.

Crocker was last seen in Bokeelia, Florida on January 4, 2019. He left home with two guns that day and has never been heard from again. He did leave an envelope in a longtime friend's mailbox. The envelope contained a few hundred dollars in cash, some lottery tickets, the keys to Crocker's pickup truck and a letter instructing on the management of his personal affairs.

When he got the envelope, Crocker's friend was concerned and rushed to his home. He found it deserted. All of Crocker's belongings had been left behind, including his cellular phone and vehicle, and since his disappearance there has been no activity on his financial accounts.

His case remains unsolved.
