Oh my arguments about wrong numer of phone calls, 576 for defense and a lot less for state between two parties...tis was futing opeinng statements....this is a mess. Judge is not happy and is le turing. This is all after trial today. The defense attorney reminds me of Baez....

It's like listening to kids arguing on the playground. I think I even heard somebody tattling. Yes, kind of hard to take them seriously.

I listen while working and can watch only briefly. Claypool reminds me of a cross between Kramer (from Seinfeld), Christopher Walken and an aggressive salesman who you want to move away from you ASAP. Lol

I watched live stream all day today..Yikes the defence motions for mistrials occurred numerous times..claims CI ( Confidential Informant) didn't want to be part of the investigation ..Yet yet Lead Detective ( on the stand today) knew nothing of any claim by CI. IF he did ever say that..it was prior to Lead Detective's assignment.

Defence really did take most of the day with the objections..and have to give the Judge props for being so patient today. Post release of jury with admonitions, yikes both side exploded at each other.

Hope things go smoother tomorrow..Judge basically tells both sides to iron out details BEFORE etc.

After listening to the recorded convo's with Dalia..Yikes..It sure doesn't sound like she was coerced into making ANY statements..She was adamant to getting it done( murder of her husband) but paranoid of getting caught, or getting robbed of cash she was having to get to pay for the "HIT"!

I didn't watch first trial..BUT there really shouldn't be any surprises in evidence coming in this trial..
I also found Dalia sure had a "Potty Mouth" and sure wasn't shy LOL
 
this trial so far is disgusting ...no search for truth here at all...just defense objecting to everything to avoid the truth and frankly not very good lawyers on either side and a judge trying but not succeeding in controling them..going to be a long trial. And they freely show the jurors on camera.

I was watching and listening....then I was interrupted by hubby! He knows better....trying to keep up with thismand Dylan Roof....a different kind of circus!

Will be back tomorrow....night all

I noticed that they showed the jurors and the Judge along with both sides....named the jurors! Soem jurors when they would lean forward, to put the notebook on the railing, got infront of the lens or walked in front of the lens! Easy to try and put a face and name together using media!

Defense whining and not 'viewing and marking issues' causing delays, reminds me of Baez...(who is doing it again with Herandez case).

I noticed DD had blonde streaks in her hair today, different from what I remember the day before.

Last 30 minutes is judge and counsel.:slap:
 
Defense attitude, voice tone, loudness and the disgusted looks he (claypool) gives LE as he hands paperwork to look at while on the stand, is going to turn off the jury big time. I see a long day of objections.....I see a long day of defense twisting testimonies. I believe this is defense attorney Claypool asking questions right. Trouble brews IMO. No one learned from the Judges lectures yesterday....but then Claypool was not asking questions yesterday so maybe Claypool does not think the Judges words apply to him today. Sigh.

So far no motions and no motion for mistrial...yet.
 
Dective on stand is confident and does not get upset with Claypool. Detective addresses Jury as well as lawyers.....and more sidebars...Anyone counting sidebars?
 
Now LE undercover agent "hitman" on stand. I thought last name was John. State going over his qualifications and asking him what his roll would be in this case. LE explains how he contacted DD, used a drop phone, used only for this case. Contacted DD that day. Phone area code was not the same as area of case

Detective name was Merino not John
 
Defense objected to evidence, over ruled.

Now phone call being played....Detective Merino calling as hit man to DD saying how much money, 3000.00 and key to house. 3000.00 is to prove payment and key is to show intent and she wanted to go ahead....

DD wanted to know where AM. AM said 30 min and he was getting stuff together to meet
