NAPLES, Fla. -- Police have released images of a gold necklace and pendant they say belonged to an unidentified person who was found dead along the Gordon River last week in Naples.


According to Naples Police, the bones were found on April 2nd in a mangrove estuary just off U.S. 41.


They say the person was wearing the necklace pictured here, featuring a gold and white stone charm with the word “FAITH” and an olive branch. A peach dove is also depicted out of white stones on the charm.


Police say the person was a male over 30 years old, who was previously missing four front teeth and had a prior gunshot wound to the rib and spinal area which was medically treated and not a factor in his death.

A profile of the skeleton remains indicate that the victim is male and was 30 years of age, police said. The man was previously missing four front teeth and suffered from and abscessed molar.

A thin, gold, Figaro necklace with a round, gold and white stone charm with the word “FAITH” and an olive branch was located around the victim’s neck, police said. The charm also contains a peach dove depicted out of white stones.

The Naples Police Department, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Gulf Coast University Forensic Anthropology Department is investigating the death.

Also, i thought I'd mention Salvador Sanchez Azcona. Went missing close by in March 2016. In one picture on CharleyProject you can even see him wearing a gold necklace.
