This account of what the STBX and other woman did to victim was shocking - but the woman who pulled the knife seemed to face no consequences BUT she seems to have been put back in jail on Thursday which was before the father and son were arrested on Friday. Wonder if her arrest is related to this latest situation with NM?

According to a criminal complaint, Montalvo told investigators she met Otero-Rivera in a parking lot when she was attacked.

She said a woman with her husband pulled her out of her car and then threw her to the ground.

The complaint said Otero-Rivera then grabbed her head and attempted to break her neck.

She said he slapped her across the face several times because he didn't like that she was texting a friend and took his son.

Authorities said the woman with him allegedly put a knife to Montalvo's throat and threatened to kill her.

Otero-Rivera pleaded no contest to some of the charges in that case, but the woman, who was also arrested, went to trial.

The woman was found not guilty of all charges. That woman was booked into Osceola County jail on Thursday for an unrelated violation of probation change. [BBM]

Otero-Rivera and Luis Rivera were both arrested on Friday for charges unrelated to the Montalvo case.

Otero-Rivera is accused of violating his probation and his father allegedly violated his conditions as a registered felon.

I'd be real surprised if they didn't clear the family out completely once the warrants were signed. That was a huge LE presence we saw today and it looked like they were going to process all 5 acres according to what LE said later in the day to the Press.

They were staying at a motel according to what I saw on our local news Saturday evening. I believe that was where the initial arrests took place. Moo

Thanks, think we found the properties but I'm not sure with TOS if we can bring them here yet. But it looks like LE is at the second property, found remains and has a backhoe working on a site.

Husband, father-in-law, are persons of interest in disappearance of Florida woman, deputies say

Records said Montalvo called deputies last year to report that her estranged husband and another person took her to a secluded area, where he slapped her across the face several times because he didn't like her texting a friend and taking his son.

The documents said he threw her to the ground and attempted to break her neck, saying she would be killed if she called 911.

Earlier this month, Montalvo sent a handwritten letter to a judge asking that a protection order she had against her husband be dropped because it would be best for her son. bbm

While it was a week ago that she disappeared and was very likely murdered - Osceola Sheriff moved lightening quick IMO and we already have at least two arrests - no repeat of what happened in michelle Parker’s case - well done LE
