Isn't that just wonderful. She lies to a detective and tampers with evidence and gets to roam the planet a free woman, for now, anyway.

ITA. If they wanted fewer of these murders to happen, there would be a law that serious abuse (like attempted murder/almost breaking her neck!) means automatic ending of visitation until some remedy has occurred (extensive counseling, etc.). Many abusers simply stalk through the courts - they have no real interest in providing for or caring for the children - they just want to make the woman's life as miserable as possible and keep that control over her - and the courts allow that.

Or just lock up the jerks forever and throw away the key. They don't belong around women or children. Heck, they don't deserve to breathe the same air their victims and us. Scum demons.

I live just a few counties away from her. I have a bunch of questions
1. If Montalvo assaulted by ex husband a week ago and order of protection why would she drop her son off? If that stuff happened there is no way I would leave my sons there. I would take him to school, no school and stay home, or I would have Not gone to work even if I got fired.
2. Is other individual they want to talk to be the girlfriend. Info says she was involved in the attack last week
3. Where is her car?
4. If someone would have picked the child from school, we may not even know anything is amiss!
5. What killed her?
6. Sheriff keeps saying how gruesome the crime scene. Detectives/PD see a lot of horrible things. What makes them say worse ever. Wonder if they burned her too. Could be why ME hasn’t released report? Or could be authorities holding for now.
7. Who took the child to school?
8. Family members tried to empty bank accounts once she was found. Sounds like they were getting ready to leave the country. Report says they frequently left the country
9. He was about to go to jail for beating, kidnapping and holding a knife to her the week before. She would be the victim/witness of him assaulting her and violating protection order. Plus he had firearms and was a felon. Detectives figured that out and that’s why they arrested the guys so quickly to keep them from leaving the country? Did they have plane tickets?
My summary... wife was going to rat him out, he would be in jail, so get rid of ex wife, empty the bank accounts,take the grandkids and go far away.
10. The little boy may hold all the answers

Honestly, I don't disagree with you on number one per se, but you have to remember something- they could have threatened Nicole with beating and murdering not only her, but their child, too. She may have been afraid to run.

Also, these poor victims of DV- if they so much as dare to try to make a run for it with their children, when they're caught, one of two things will happen to them- the abuser will kill them and possibly their child(ren) or the victim ends up in jail themselves, because they haven't been granted full custody of the children and the abuser wasn't disallowed to visit with their child(ren).

Nicole is a victim. She was in a no win situation. Perhaps her death is the only way, unfortunately, that her son will be safe from these scum demons. Trashy, disgusting, vile, evil monsters.

I am so glad the sheriff is going after every single one of them involved. I can't imagine what that poor woman lived through before she died. He tried to break her neck!

I hope he's charged for that crime also.

I'd like to think that the lady just escaped from him and is alive and well out there- that would be nice, wouldn't it?

Wonder how they collected money for this.

As much as I KNOW this family has committed various sickening crimes, I am not comfortable taking what I read on their facebook page posted by individuals as gospel. I tried to find articles (proof) online regarding these latest 2 accusations. Angel Rivera is an extremely common name and we must be careful of finger pointing. I am using his age as a cross reference and so far, I have found child abuse individuals with that name within Pennsylvania in 2016- HOWEVER the age and picture of the suspect do not match. Once again - I am in NO WAY saying Angel is innocent - however, I cannot conclusively say that these latest accusations are accurate.

@enelram, can you open the attachments? I provided the link for cross reference purposes. The felony was Aggravated Battery with a deadly weapon - AR fighting with his son COR. So the story is COR and NM were living with COR's parents in a trailer on their property along with son. COR gets angry with dad for unplugging the air conditioner to trailer - AR says he will plug it in when they start paying rent - and then it escalates from there. Weapon was a butter knife.

Enelram, I looked further into the comment that was made by a "local"...note that individual is new to FB (10/24) - says grew up in OH and lives in Kissimmee. It might be true BUT it could also be someone trying to stir the pot - MOO

Sounds like a violent family.
I did see NM's divorce petition and she was
declared indigent so guessing there was no money coming in for rent.
I'm most curious about AR's felony conviction.
