He reminds me a lot of this missing man. 7" difference in the height though.

Who is this? I agree there are some similarities that i can't ignore like the teeth and eye brows, especially. Perhaps someone should check records to make certain there wasn't an entry error on either of their heights. MOO

This recon reminds me of Brendan Fraser from his long hair roles in Encino Man, Airheads, and George of the Jungle.

Wonder if he's already been unofficially compared to George Hubbard Greenshields and it's just not listed on NamUs? It would be a no-brainer comparison considering both lived in FL (1 hour drive away), George went missing a year prior, George was tall (6'1" - not 6'5 but still), and facially they are similar. I don't believe George went missing with long hair but?? some people can get crazy hair growth in a year.

Robert Dale Casto - DLC 1983 from Arlington TX, was 21 at the time, 6'2-6'5". Handsome guy, similar facial features imo. Eyebrows like that don't just come along every day!

Frederick Antone Putzi - DLC 1985 from San Fran, was 24 at the time, 6'1". Hair listed as brown but is on the light-brown side imo, but since there are no color photos of this UID, I can't comment.

Was bothering me, so I submitted these two to the NamUs correspondent. According to DoeNetwork George has dentals and fingerprints available so hopefully a comparison is possible, if it hasn't been done already.

Also, idk if it's been mentioned but one of the UIDs markings is "3cm long and linear old scars on the dorsal aspect of each finger of the right hand on metatarsal phalangeal joint" (I believe they meant metacarpal, because tarsal would imply he's got feet for hands); I believe he probably had trauma to either the metacarpals or proximal phalanges on his right hand, and had surgery to repair them, resulting in the linear scars on each finger.
A procedure that is commonly done and would result in small regular scars (now I believe the scars left would be pin-point, not linear, but idk how this was done in the 80s) is K-wire fixation, where the pins are inserted and then removed when the bones have repaired. I've linked a photo of a k-wire procedure at the MCP joints it sounds like the UID could have received...

I'm just wondering about the multiple layers of clothes on him. So he died on November? I wonder how warm it is during that month in Miami.

Multiple sweat shirts..his forensic art shows him with what appears to be two shirts on top of each other. Judging by that, he could either be a transient or was low on clothes for cold weather.

Also, IMHO he looks 30 at most.

lol, I thought so too! The coloring seems darker than I'd imagine this guy to be (ofc we only have b&w photos), and the angle + blurring makes it look like he has chubby cheeks, rather than the strong jawline seem in the postmortem.

I don't know what the procedure is in that county, but I know where I lived about an hour away, on my drive home from work I would pass the jail and frequently see people walking down the road. They would release them from the jail and if they did not have money to call a cab or friend, they had to walk.

I wasn't aware of a hair requirement for jail. Does it vary by location maybe? When I was on a jury, the guy had really long dreadlocks.
