Police: 2 men were seen putting victim in body-parts case into car

Two men were seen carrying Laparra into a car about 4 a.m. May 31 outside El Mexicano club, 521 SW Eighth St., police said.

One man was driving the car, said to be a small, tan vehicle, and the other was believed to have left on a bicycle, police said. Both are said to be Latin men in their 30s, with medium complexions...

Three days later -- on June 3 -- a bicyclist spotted a plastic bag floating in Biscayne Bay. Inside, police found part of Laparra's body.

There were talks that that Canadian porn star Luke Magnotta was involved, but he was later cleared.

Also, this guy was featured on The First 48 in 2010 (I think).

I just watched this case yet again on The First 48. Still unsolved......how sad for his family.

In June 2009, body parts enclosed in bags started washing up near the seawalls of Biscayne Bay. Legs and an arm were found first. Other parts were found in different locations in the bay over the following days. Police identified the victim as Omar Laparra, but the murder remains unsolved.
