I think she is too young to be this Doe. Also she is too tall.

Hopefully she was recovered alive.

Yeah, she's a bit young and a bit taller, but not far off on either one. I hope you're right that she's been found safe. It could well be somebody we didn't consider.

A skull and bones found in the woods in west Orange County last fall have been identified as those of a missing Pine Hills woman.

Christene Moore was 20 years old when she was reported missing in October 2012. Officials finally identified her remains last month, but a medical examiner could not determine a cause of death...

Deputy sheriffs asked for the public's help to identify the skeleton, which was found off Hackney Prairie Road near Ocoee in September...

Moore's mother reported her missing on Oct. 31, 2012, about the time she was due to give birth, a sheriff's report shows.

It doesn't mention anything about pregnancy, either, so I have to wonder about the accuracy of that comment.

Height is listed as 52" which is 4'4"? Yes 5'2" is probably what they meant. I saw some PM suggestions with 5'6" and added one at 5'7". Is that getting too far out of the range?

Christine is listed as 60 inches, so they must have meant 5'2". Here is a collage. One more family has closure. God Bless Christine and her family.

I think she was about 6 months pregnant if she went missing in July. Her mother didn't report her missing until Oct. when she was due to give birth. So there was a 3 month time lag. Still, you would think they would say something about the baby?

So sad. She was a beautiful young woman.

As Killarney Rose said, where is the baby? Ninety percent of the skeleton was recovered but there is no mention of finding fetal remains, and even if Christene died in July shortly after her family last saw her, she was about six months pregnant by then.

Other skeletal UIDs had the pregnancy noted in the autopsy. This UID was six months pregnant: http://pennsylvaniamissing.com/461ufpapublicker.html

Yet the UID who was identified as Christene was said to be "petite" and wore size seven jeans. Granted, not every woman needs maternity jeans by then and she may have just moved up to a larger size.

I think her baby should be considered a missing person. She may have been targeted for the baby, before or after giving birth. It's also tragic there is only one news article about this case.

Yes, these days many women don't even buy real maternity clothes. With the low rise jeans, they are able to continue to wear their regular jeans.

Thanks to the reporter for her devotion to finding out what happened to Christene and her baby. A few questions remain:

After the argument, did Christene walk out, planning to return later after cooling down, or did she actually pack her things and move out? If her family didn't report her missing until her due date, it sounds like they thought she had found someone to stay with.

Was there any skeletal evidence (grooves on the pelvis) that indicated she had given birth?

Assuming she was receiving prenatal care (since she knew her due date), did Christene's OB-GYN call after she suddenly stopped attending appointments?

Did she have any type of credit cards, cell phone, etc. that could be traced to see when they were last used?

The fact that the baby remains missing is concerning and maybe a call needs to go out in case anyone remembers a woman who suddenly appeared with a newborn in the fall of 2012.
