Umm... so I’m guessing that since the “liver” was recognizable that the death was very recent? Best scenario: someone couldn’t afford a funeral? Worst scenario: the sky’s the limit. Jmo

If it was on the surface, I'd say they "lost" it while disposing of it?? But it was buried, so I have no idea why would they do this. I don't know much about US laws regarding burials, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal

Yeah, that's why it's sketchy. But maybe it wasn't from the funeral home at all?
