I did some digging, looks like she was charged with "Heroin sale, manuf/deliver" (3 Court Records for Patricia Scala found in FL), so she was charged with not just using but sale, manufacture and deliver Heroin, this kind life carried risk, would that have something to do with her disappearance ?

Sorry, old news. This account definitely belonged to her based on her Facebook posts about sending money to her PayPal with an email address of the same name. Wonder if there has been any activity at all tied to that account in recent years?

It's so sad that there still are not answers. I knew Erin and dated her for a while. We lost touch for quite a few years and reconnected via Facebook in 2010. One of the last times I saw her, she was in the hospital for a blood infection or MRSA - I don't recall. I came to visit her and she seemed happy and determined. Believe she was newly single at the time and she had rediscovered religion a bit. Not too long after she got out of the hospital we grabbed a drink one night and that was the last time I saw her in person. Her last message to me on FB was the beginning of 2012. I'd mentioned us catching up and she said that her boyfriend wouldn't be happy about her hanging out with another guy and that she was living with him in some big house in Lake Sarasota. Said they'd been off and on for five years and that it was "complicated (to say the least)". From everything I've read and seen, I think she was either abducted (human trafficking) or he is responsible. Hope I'm wrong every day.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has done dozens of interviews with her friends and neighbors. Investigators also searched her phone, bank and other accounts, but nothing has led them to her.

The sheriff’s office told us this: “We are glad to hear you are highlighting this story. Unfortunately we have no updates to this investigation at this time however, the case is assigned to one of our detectives and it is being actively worked.”

Can you give me the name and information for the specific officer working on her case? I’ve got information on this case I’ve been giving a detective in North Port that I’m not sure has made it to her family.
I know for a fact that John Dovi was responsible for her death. I was related (by marriage) to the Dovi family and recently learned a lot of this information from family members who were there then. We tried repeatedly to give information to a specific detective in North Port PD but he didn’t seem to care much. John Dovi is now deceased from Covid, but the Scalia family deserves to know the truth. I’ve recently called crime stoppers when I saw that giving information to North Port PD was getting me nowhere. I gave that same detective information on crimes Jill Dovi was committing and he did nothing with that information either.
John Dovi killed Erin the night he reported her missing. His brother, Jesse Frechette, was there and kept his brother’s secret until his own suicide last month.
Jill Dovi, Jesse and John’s sister, has also committed crime after crime of her own and has been getting away with them, including her involvement in the death of her own grandchild, and most recently the death of her mother and stepfather in order to steal the house she’s now living in.
She frequently chooses lonely Veterans as her victims that she meets at the VFW, using a scheme of “house cleaning” and “estate cleaning” in order to financially clean out these veterans and steal their medications. Because they are elderly and without family, very few questions are asked when they die and she’s been using their credit cards or bank cards or whatever… She currently receives a pension from one elderly terminally ill man she married for benefits and who died immediately after the wedding…she’s been doing this for decades and getting away with it. She’s a drug addict and career criminal and somehow she is still a free woman. She was arrested AGAIN in August on drug possession, prescription fraud, and theft charges, so maybe this time she’ll actually face some consequences for her lifetime of crimes. I can honestly say that the harm that family has caused in the lives of others is astronomical and it needs to end before another generation suffers…
