A local Purple Alert is issued for Paul Downs, 83, Sarasota, who was last seen on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

The most recent photo of Mr. Downs is attached, but he is much thinner and has less hair than in the image.

Mr. Downs is about 6’3” with blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue Nike hat, white shirt, gray plaid shorts, and black shoes.

On Saturday, at about 6 p.m., Mr. Downs was seen walking away from the BOLD Lofts Sarasota, 1659 2nd Street.

Mr. Downs is believed to be endangered. If you have seen him, please call 911 or our non-emergency line at 941-316-1199.
