I saw that there is a photo of Wendy Stevenson on NAMUS that says it's the only photo available. But I saw others for the Charley Project.
I used AI Ease to enhance some of her pictures.
However she is listed to have Hazel eyes (they look brown in some pictures). But the AI Ease website photo enhancer makes them look blue.

I wonder if serial killer Christopher Wilder was ever considered a suspect by authorities. He moved to Boynton Beach in 1969. It’s only 25 miles from Pompano Beach. He often approached victims at beach settings. In 1983, he abducted two girls ages 10 and 11 in Boynton Beach. In 1969, he would have been 24 years old. He was six feet tall and had fair hair.

Christopher Wilder was actually arrested by Pompano Beach police in 1971 for trying to get young girls at the beach to pose nude. He paid a $25 fine.

I was going to say the same thing. Schaefer was one of the most vile serial killers ever and it's too bad he died with so many victims not accounted for or identified.

Schaefer killing children would not shock me. He was a predator and didn't care, it was all part of his sadistic game. I have seen where people have mentioned that he would confess to crimes and give details, but was very cagey about locations. I remember Bundy saying that the green river killer was hiding his victims because "They are his, he owns them. They are his possessions." So I doubt Schaefer gave any answers to help locate the remains. I believe in God with all my heart, and it gives me comfort that these children are in Heaven, and Schaefer is roasting in hell.

It was all a game to Schaefer. He had no remorse for anything he did and seemed to take enjoyment out of every horrid atrocity he committed. Whether it was the murders, the disposal of the remains, or the theft of his victims possessions he was thrilled by it all.

Considering he’s allegedly admitted in writing to murdering both Peggy and Wendy before cannibalizing their bodies… I’m wondering if he did this to some of the other missing victims as well but I’m not sure.

I do hope someday Peggy and Wendy are found so their remaining relatives can get a sense of closure.
