Perrin Damron was last seen Friday in her home in the Manatee Creek area, which is near Cove Road and Dixie Highway.

According to the sheriff's office, Damron was supposed to meet her child's father on Saturday, but that meeting did not take place.

"The family says that’s very, very unusual for her. She’s generally punctual,” said Martin County Sheriff William Snyder. "The family became concerned and called us and we are very, very concerned about her safety and her whereabouts.

“Her car is still at the house. Her belongings are at the house. There is nothing unusual at the house.

"If something did happen to her it doesn’t look like it happened at the house."

Too many days, as I always say.
Everything looks fine and undisturbed except that she is missing.
"Her car is still at the house." -- That's the kicker -- assuming the car is in good running order. Did she go for a walk/run and got hurt or was hurt by someone? Did a friend come by and pick her up to take her to pick up her child and something bad happened? If so, seems like another person should be missing as well.
I hope LE and/or others are searching for her.
SMH and following.

Thanks for the thread, @Knox.

Oh no. Social media has some bad news, from who I believe to be her family member.

UPDATE
We regret to report that the body of 23-year old Perrin Damron, who was reported missing Sunday, was recovered in a canal in Indiantown. Her death is being treated as a homicide and an arrest has been made in the case. This investigation is still very active and information is still being processed.

Can't find anything on an arrest yet, anyone?

  • Dad picked up baby at 6 PM on Friday at Perrin's home.
  • Saturday evening, Perrin's friend reported her missing. Perrin had not been in touch with the child since Friday, highly unusual.
  • LE got involved and began looking for Perrin Saturday night.
  • Last seen with a family friend EW. The investigation moved to Palm Beach County, Chico Farms area because Westergard lives there.
  • EW made incriminating statements and there was physical evidence found in the house.
  • EW led LE to Perrin's body, he has been charged with 1st Degree Murder.

How sad that she was murdered by someone she knew and trusted. Prayers for Ms Damron and to her entire family and friends.

“What we’re focusing on is looking for video camera evidence. So anybody in the Manatee Creek area, we are asking you to specifically, would you please take a look at your cameras and see if you see anything from 6 p.m. on Friday until sometime later in the day or early evening, Saturday? That would be so helpful for us,” said [Sheriff] Snyder."

Damron was supposed to meet her child's father on Saturday, but that meeting did not take place.

Damron was scheduled to pick up her small child from an undisclosed location – but she never showed. Her family said that is unlike her. She reportedly was also supposed to meet up with a friend on Saturday but never showed for that meeting either.

Missing mom: Perrin Damron of Stuart, FL, has not been seen since Saturday

I suppose the father of her toddler has been cleared with a verified alibi.

CANCEL THAT just saw Knox's post.

Such a tragic outcome for this young woman's child and family. What surprised me was the charges already for first-degree murder. In Florida, that's either premeditated or felony murder. Premeditated doesn't need an explanation but if you wish to look it up it's Florida Statute 782.04(1)(a)(1)

Felony murder, Florida Statute 782.04(1)(a)(2) can be death as a result of any of the following (there's more but since she was with the POI I think we can rule out carjacking, highjacking, terror attack, child abuse, abuse of an elderly/disabled person, home invasion robbery, escape from incarceration, resisting an officer with violence or detonation of a destructive device or bomb) It applies EVEN IF THE PERSON NEVER INTENDED TO KILL ANYONE.
-Arson
-Burglary/Robbery
-Distribution or trafficking of Controlled Substances
-kidnapping
-sexual battery
I am glad he is in custody, and my prayers go out for her family and loved ones.

<article snipped> as I didn't see this particular info:

They received one piece of video evidence from a Ring camera that was of Westergard near the house after he had picked Damron up

He had an animal sanctuary and I wonder if that's how they connected:

Exotic pet owners urged to foster others; local sanctuary takes care of nearly 400 animals

Back in 2018 Perrin started a 🤬🤬🤬 for him (I can't add link due to TOS - I hope I can add the info though because it is expired (2018) :

Perrin Damron is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Eric Westergard

As some of us have seen on the news or social media, Storm the kangaroo escaped from his home the night of September 24th, in Jupiter Farms Florida. Eric Westergard (owner) searched night and day looking for Storm, he hoped that he would come back home. After 3 long days of local neighbors and Fish and Game searches, the night of September 26th Eric and his friends spotted Storm roaming down the street and Eric finally caught him and safely brought him home. As of September 28th early morning FWC came and took Storm and the other 6 kangaroos due to not big enough enclosures. This sanctuary that Eric has created has so many different breeds of animals from birds, deer, reptiles, and of course kangaroos. Most of these animals were rescued from unsafe conditions or unwanted. As this sanctuary continues to grow we need to add, repair, and expand some of the living homes of these animals. Food and supplies get very expensive year to year, and Eric has provided all of this himself the past 8 years. We would love to have the community come together and pitch in and help make this a bigger and better sanctuary for all of these loving animals, and bring the kangaroos back home! Any donations to help out would be greatly appreciated. Eric has worked so hard over the past 8 years to help make these animals feel at home and happy.
Thank you again
