Philip Henry Lott was last seen at his house on Pheasant Walk on Saturday, Sept. 28 around 11 a.m., Fort Pierce Police say.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans with a light-colored long-sleeve shirt. Lott may be on an electric scooter, a black three-wheeled scooter with a gray seat.

Search continues for man who disappeared on his scooter

Lott's son, Joe Lott, said it wasn't odd for his father to leave on his scooter that was a daily occurrence.

"For him to go missing, is not his style, and that's why we are just so concerned," Joe Lott said. "Sleepless nights just thinking about him, we just want to find him."

Fort Pierce police and St. Lucie County Sheriff's deputies have been searching the wooded area and canals near Lott's home for the past two days.

Family members handed out fliers. Friends and complete strangers are helping with the search.
