POMPANO BEACH — Deputies are investigating after a human skull was found Thursday at a waste facility in Pompano Beach, officials said.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene of the discovery around 1:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of NW 33rd Street in Pompano Beach near NW 16th Terrace.

The skull will be examined by the Broward County Medical Examiner, deputies said.

But there are many more missing from that area... sadly. I forgot the names (one was Stephenie or Tiffenie or so) of another two local missing ladies, they had the same boyfriend.

I’m not certain how waste facilities are monitored but I would think, once the skull was discovered, they would have searched in more depth? Is that facility the type that tracks where the load originated from? They used the word waste, not recycling, so maybe they have 2 separate areas that they process.

The FBI did an extensive search of Mt Trashmore based upon where they thought the trash from the dumpster ended up.

The Pompano facility in question looks from the photos to be a bulk waste separation facility. This is residential garbage, a lot of it is landscaping stuff. They separate the garbage and recyclables from the landscape stuff and send all to the appropriate facilities.

It's been about 6 months. I wonder how long it takes to ID the person or if genetic genealogy will be necessary.
