I don't know why they didn't pursue rape charges. I would imagine, though, that these young women have suffered enough humiliation and degradation without having to relive their abuse in public. You can be given mulitiple life sentences, but you can only serve one. Forty years is life for this creep.

Actually, all 3 girls testified at his trial and also made their names known to the public. I feel that he should have still been tried for those rapes, so that they would feel they received justice for what was done to them. His sentence is only for the porn. Even though they testified and undoubtedly that was taken into consideration for his sentencing, they haven't really received justice. I feel so sad for them. Maybe they did not wish to do another trial and were satisfied with the sentence he got.
