Sorry...I am here...Had a horrible headache last night, tried to get on computer several times butr finally gave up...Have we gotten permission to approach her sister? I KNOW she can answer many of these questions....but I just read the adminstrators response and the administrator was her sister...I am going to approach her since I have helped in the past.

Hi Cam!

Hope your headache is easing up on you!

thanks for your help.....

We are off to the zoo... But I will be on WS late tonight!

Looks like there's a status hearing for him tomorrow - the result of running a stop sign and ultimately drug charges from August 13, 2012

Great sleuthing, Tarabull!

I am not certain of the legalities... But... Since he is a convicted drug dealer... Shouldn't he have on file, or wouldn't LE be allowed to get, DNA from JS3?

I received an enlightening response form the admin. of Rosemary's Missing Site...

The person stated that she found it not always beneficial to join sites where the Day family is placed under a microscope. I can totally understand... they have already experienced over a year of this situation.

But I told her we are a victim friendly site, that we will continue to sleuth the situation so that we may find some kind of answers for Rosemary and the family, and I told her at WS we become very attached to the persons we are searching for.

I further shared that we will be sending the Days love and support in spirit, too!

And.... she directed me to the Duvall County Clerk of Courts (thank you, Tarabull... ), and to type in Smith III, NMN , then James.

Here we will get a record for this man, and then we will be directed to everything we want to know about him!

Let's Roll!

Do you get the feeling they do not want our help, which is so strange to me as they were begging for help before....I guess we do not have to have their blessings but I am sure they have alot of info, leg work that we could skip. You know I only have that other case to compare this too.....and you know big brotha and sil were reluctant at first but now have given so much of the credit to WS....so maybe they could give us a letter of recommmendation...of sorts....I mentioned this Rosemary because I feel so sorry for her family but now I am just confused

I am feeling so much like you right now. When I read about the Rosemary Day case from you, I thought what a great way to help this family by using Websleuths... but now I am not certain they wish help from us.

There are so many questions that could be answered by the family that we really don't have access to..

I don't want to give up... but I feel quite stymied right now...

I will keep checking in and seeing if there is breaking news, etc.

Take care y'all!

I have "put the ball in their court" so to speak...so I am going to wait until I hear something from them...Soooooo. where are we going now? Gabrielle Swainson (South Carolina)? I watched her story on NG last night and her mother believe she is still alive (hopeful thinking, prob) but if there is a chance (and there is always a chance) I would love to help find her.

From what I can gather...

A) Golden Corral on Blanding Blvd
B) Rosemary's apartments on Ortega Woods Drive
C) 900 Block of Liberty Street *Car found

• Golden Corral to Apartments = 5.3 Mi. 12 Minutes
• Apartments to Liberty Street = 12.1 Mi. 25 Minutes
• Golden Corral to Liberty Street = (3 routes) Route chosen I-295 N = 20 Mi. 30 Minutes

Not sure if this helps at all or not. The area the car was found is a bad section of town. I work several blocks away from Liberty street. When I go out at lunch today I am going to see which end is the 900 block. There is so much crime over here. Really worse at night and on week-ends.
Many abandoned homes with lots of drug activity. Lots of historical homes refurbished also.

I remember little bit when this case was in the news, but nothing new lately.
I havent read this whole thread yet.
JS3 prolly knows more than he has said. IMO

Liberty Street is certainly a bad area!!! From what I remember her car was found close to Burger King...so on that end of Liberty...All of it is bad! I also think he does know more than he is saying and I think LE and the family know that but they must have nothing on her disappearance to pin on him.

and there have been some interesting and baffling twists and turns!

I will see you over there, Sleuthers! :seeya:
