A private eye tried to track the car down and the last place it was seen was where he disappeared from

I've submitted the following cases to NamUs.

Royce Eugene Wilson was last seen on November 1, 1969 at the Apache Restaurant on Highway 200 in Inverness, FL. Almost 19 years later, and roughly 57 miles away, a known street person by the name of "Lloyd" was found deceased in Tampa, FL.

I'm not sure if Wilson was a wanted man, or not but the two men look the same. The only visual difference is that the unidentified's eyebrows are clearly defined, and he has an unkempt appearance after possibly 19 years on the streets. The physical description has Wilson 2 inches shorter, and with a tattoo. However, the unidentified's details neglect to mention hair color on remains with a "recognizable face," suggesting details may have been omitted. But, what happened to the car?
