Channel 6 saying he had vest and 2 guns on person.

Even with all that he knew if he shot it out with LE he was going to be the one who dies. In the end most of these cold blooded murderers like he is are cowards. They will take another person's life in a heartbeat but don't want to be killed themselves. He is a career criminal anyway and knows how to adapt in prison.

He may decide later on he would have rather died in a shootout with cops because this is Florida and this will be a death penalty case. I have no doubt about that at all.

Oh no! This is happening way too often. We just had an officer wounded in Georgia last week.

They called him out of home and he crawled out but did resist.He was only one in house could have been empty.Had on vest.This is from Channel6.

Considering the crimes he's accused of and the fact he evaded capture for more than a week + was known to wear a bullet-proof vest, I think he looks (relatively) unscathed in his photo post-capture. JMO though.

Prayers going up for ALL of this man's victims. And many thanks to all of law enforcement and the first responders who hunted Loyd down and continued serving the city, even while they were mourning the loss of two of their own.

OT:

I turned 70 on Christmas Day and my driver's license had to be renewed. I was so worried about the eye test since I read so much but I aced that thing the first time and I have never worn glasses. I was so relieved. lol
