Samantha Lynn Posella, a 17-year-old resident of <snipped by me> in Palm Coast and a home-schooled student enrolled in Florida Virtual School walked out of her house the morning of Oct. 25 and hasn’t been seen by her parents since.

Her father, Joseph Posella, 39, told Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies that Samantha had been “acting out” the two weeks leading to her departure, and had been struggling in her courses. But he attributed the behavioral matters at home to typical teenage issues.

She’d left on foot. She has no vehicle or access to a vehicle and has no cell phone. Her father told deputies that he has checked the residence; deputies have gone in and looked around, without finding Samantha. Her father told deputies she is not known to hang out anywhere else, and he couldn’t say where else she might be.

Samantha is described as a white female, 17, 5’6″, 135 LBS., with a slender build, hazel eyes, short, curly brown hair. She was last seen wearing black pants and a gray and pink hoodie.
A local Be On the Lookout was issued, and Samantha’s information entered into federal and state missing-children databases. She turns 18 in January.

I don't like the sounds of this. She lives in a very wooded area of Palm Coast and it would have been a very long hike to get to any main road. I hope they are checking any computer she has access too. I can't locate any FB page for her.

18-year-old Flagler County girl missing for 8 months

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) is asking for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Samantha Lynn Posella, 18, of Llama Trail in Palm Coast to contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately. Samantha was last seen on October 24, 2017 and may have been the victim of a crime.

A woman, Kindra Dixon, believed to have last seen Samantha reported to deputies that she drove Samantha to work on the day of her disappearance and last saw Samantha walking home from 6 Llach Court in Palm Coast on the evening of October 24th. Kindra has since provided several inconsistent statements to law enforcement. Kindra Dixon and her boyfriend, Roy Edward Casey III, have become persons of interest in Samantha’s disappearance.

The FCSO first sought information into Samantha’s disappearance through social media in November. She is an eighteen-year-old white female with short brown hair, hazel eyes, five-foot-six-inches tall and weighing 136 pounds.

“We need to know the truth about Samantha’s whereabouts and we need the cooperation of those who last saw her or any friends that may know something,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Please come forward with information to help us find her.”

Anyone who has information on Samantha’s whereabouts, or her disappearance, is asked to contact the FCSO at 386-313-4911 and mention Case Number 2017-93626; or, call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous. Samantha is now an adult and no longer needs to return to her parents’ care and custody if she is alive and well.

Woman Faces Felony Charge In Case of Palm Coast Teen Missing 8 Months | FlaglerLive

Kindra Dixon, right, and Samantha Posella.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office today charged Kindra Dixon with a felony count of interfering with the custody of a child and with giving false information to law enforcement in the latest twist in the disappearance and recovery eight months later of a Palm Coast teen. Dixon, 39, was booked at the Flagler County jail on $2,500 bond at 4 p.m.

The Sheriff’s Office is also seeking to recover $4,114 in investigative costs from Dixon, money the agency says would not have been spent had Dixon cooperated in the missing-person case.
