Yes. Called Brian. Went back downstairs and made another video. And then she returned upstairs and fell asleep... um, passed out. JMO

ETA: Or maybe she made both videos, beat JT to a pulp, and went upstairs and passed out. Only witness was SB. She wants us to believe that she failed to video JT being angry and aggressive and making her fear for her life (overt act), but recorded him ten minutes later when he was calm, begging her to let him out because he could not breathe.

On redirect-- Owens emphasizes that the only time the bat made direct contact with JT's hand outside the suitcase was when his hand was outside the suitcase.

SB adds that inside the suitcase, she only poked at him with the bat.

That must have been some serious poking to bruise him as she did.

I don't know what I expected from the cross exam of SB but it wasn't the little I got, unfortunately. Maybe the state was limited in what it could address, I don't know but I am disappointed.
