She is snarky with the prosecution. I don't like her. Seems she diagnosed SB just from what SB told her about herself.
That's what shrinks go on so everyone becomes a "victim"..

Anyone know the timeline of when these 9 visits took place?
Were they originally court ordered?
I'm confused how she got involved because Owens is new.

They've previous said "Aspire" is Aspire Health Providers, a behavioral health clinic in or near Winter Park, where Sarah lived. I'm not sure if she was there for alcohol treatment or an evaluation, but based on the records the state is reading out loud, it sounds like it was something related to her alcohol use.

Thanks!
I just heard the cops picked her up drunk and stumbling and then Aspire was mentioned.
Curious if her son was with her?

This doctor saw Sarah many times prior to Owens starting. I don't recall which of her previous 8 attorneys first hired her, but one of the early attorneys first decided to use the BSS defense and hired this doctor as an expert for the case. The doctor has been involved for quite a long time over the tenure of several subsequent attorneys. When Owens got hired, he got approved from the court system (JAC) to pay this doctor for her continued services in the case.

Thank you.
She said that she's never testified for BSS so that is confusing what she's doing with PTSD when they were going for BSS?

To bolster their position she had BSS as a subset of PTSD.

Wow..what a sick joke.

She didn't review Brian
Their son
SB's text communications
SB's jail records.

Only reviewed someone named "Melissa"
Who is she?
AB's BFF and drinking buddy? lol

The only diagnosis I give her is "control freak". Lived with one for 5 years and know the signs.

This expert is just a bought and paid for diagnosis that I am totally disregarding.

I find her testimony offensive considering SB's history before killing JT.

Too bad we will never know what she was like when married to Brian.
I've been wondering what her relationships prior to Brian were like. Brian seems like he's enabled her since they divorced, paying her bail, etc... IMO.

In his defense, he shares a child with her. I'm sure he's doing what he does in an attempt to stabilize her for the child's sake. Terrible spot to be in. Courts aren't always sympathic nor proactive.

Enable or still trying to appease her to avoid any conflict?
It's a toss up between the two for me.

Thanks.
imo:
Her lack of investigative abilities to form a diagnosis discredits her conclusions.
