ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Sarah Boone, the Florida woman convicted of killing her boyfriend in Feb. 2020 by locking him inside a suitcase, will spend the rest of her life in prison. Boone was convicted of second-degree murder by a six-person jury in October 2024.

Orange County Judge Michael Kraynick sentenced Boone to life in the Florida Department of Corrections. Boone rejected a 15-year plea deal prior to her trial.

The defense filed a motion for a new trial, which was rejected.

Owens could not have got out there faster, guy had his jacket on and one foot out the door as soon as the sentence was read

SB's attorney is as sick as she is. His question to ask yourself was....What did Jorge do to sarah? I guess the attorney believes JT deserved being murdered for his supposed treatment of SB.

@justin_schecker

#SarahBoone is in the Orange County courtroom for her sentencing hearing.

Jury found Boone guilty in October suitcase murder trial.

She rejected state plea deal for 15 yr sentence.

Max punishment for 2nd deg murder conviction is life; minimum sentence 22.5 yrs in prison.

Sentencing hearing for #SarahBoone had been scheduled for 1:30. I

t’s almost 2pm and Judge Kraynick has not yet entered the courtroom.

Several of Jorge Torres Jr’s family members are seated behind the prosecution.
Quote:
"She rejected state plea deal for 15 yr sentence.

The 7 or 8 attorneys told her to take that plea I would bet, being honest about her chances.

SB testimony from her sentencing hearing:

“I forgive myself for falling in love with a monster,” she said. “And no matter how grotesque he may become, I still loved him, hoped and forgave.”

I believe that what she is convicted of proves this testimony from her is false, her taunting tapes also prove it. She was out for revenge.

It haunts me how she deliberately shut up his only air hole by hitting his fingers with a bat then zipping up his one way to get air.

I can only imagine the sheer satisfaction of being DONE with this case for this judge! Wow! He didn't even waste his breath explaning his sentence - self-explanitory!! We're all sick and tired and want it over with asap! Good riddance!

I'm so glad she's sentenced to life and I really hope that JT's family and friends are super aware of how the public didn't buy this charade presented by Owens and propped up by the BS BSS theory.

Shame on everyone involved in trying to prevent justice - a fair trial should be just that, fair. Not a Narc circus.

If this had been a woman killed - abused, violated, tortured, and murdered by a man in such a way, there would be no facility for that criminal to stand in court rambling about the character of the victim, working for god, 'forgiveness' and further abusing the deceased. It's disgusting. Owens and the B$$ brigade have repulsed me in this case. I wonder who will pay for them all now anyhow? I think they're out of pocket, period.

Omg you guys, why am I still surprised that this crazy narc made it all about herself in the most victim-y heinous liar manner ever?

I was on a work call but had the TV on with closed captions and I could not control my face when I heard this insanity:

“I forgive myself for falling in love with a monster”?!?!

“I think of Jorge all the time especially when I look at my stab wound that he gave me.”?!?!

She is the absolute worst! Thank you Judge Krayniek for sentencing her to life and not giving her the satisfaction of being the center of the universe for one more second!

DBM - double post sorry!

I listened over my car's bluetooth and clenched the steering wheel in anger when she started complaining about the victim impact statements. I'm surprised she was allowed to complete her ranting.

That being said, I loved how quickly the judge dropped her sentence and deprived her of the chance to hear any further admonishments.

I think we're hopeless optimists or something?

I badly wanted to believe that SB would arrive in court dishevelled and shook up from being found guilty and then all sorrowful and pleading...

Perhaps we're 'projecting' because that's what we'd do? We can't even imagine the alternative. The alternative ought to be unimaginable in a human mind and civilized society! That an abuser can stand, after their guilty finding and spew hate and further damage onto the living people left behind is honestly repulsive.

I guess we're all here because we're all keen to see justice. In this case, even though SB was put away for many many years to come, the harm she radiated outward during her case, doesn't feel so just.

She suits prison, prison suits her. People like her in prison. She's in the right place. Forever. Most importantly her son is free from her interference.

SB - Scorched Earth! A good way to put it.

I'm so blown away that LYK took his time out to spend the day, what a star!

What I can't forget: Sarah. Sarah. Sarah.

What I can forget: Sarah

Enjoy your new universe, Sarah.

Glad you're locked out of ours.

Oh wow I'm listening to her speech. She's insane. She should be begging for forgiveness but decided to make an announcement about how superior she is and is how amazing she is for forgiving everyone because she is also god.
