A question about logistics: Sarah's sentence will include relocation from the Orange County jail to a womens prison. But if she appeals (and appeals and appeals and appeals...), does she do that from the new prison she's sent to or will she remain at the Orange County jail for the appeals phase?
She will appeal from prison, not jail, at least in the cases I’ve followed.

An 8 page Pre-Sentence Investigation has been uploaded on the Orange County court records website in Sarah's case but it's confidential so I can't open the document. Maybe it'll be made public after the sentencing is completed?

The appellate is a lengthy process and SB will likely next be transferred to Ocala for reception-- the clearing house if you will for Florida DOC where inmates are first examined and screened. MOO

The Florida Women's Reception Center (FWRC) is a state prison for women located in Ocala, Marion County, Florida, owned and operated by the Florida Department of Corrections.

Her life will be very different in prison, I imagine. She won't be calling the shots as one of the longest serving dorm residents in the history of OC Jail any more!

Has anyone ever actually served as long as SB on remand in jail without being sentenced? Or does she hold some sort of record now?

Do they even have 64 bed dorms in prisons?

Jodi Arias was in jail, like, forever. The sheriff couldn’t wait to get rid of her.

Yes, they have 64 bed dorms. I’ve seen bunks, and I’ve seen a type where they’re all lowers with a half wall partial surround.

Oh well Jodi and Sarah would make great bunk mates, they have all sorts in common.

So what do we all believe about SB's sentencing? I am leaning into something like a minimum of 30 years or possibly whole life sentence due to her lack of remorse and dishonesty. JMO

She deserves life. I do not believe the judge will go easy on her. She has been a pain in his butt for too long.

Still, I suspect he will lean/error on the side of conservation. Life WITH parole. I hope that would translate to a full 30 years before her first chance at parole -- and that it will be denied her based on a history of chronic infractions in prison.

Iirc, there will be two impart statements from Jorge Torres' family at sentencing today (could have changed from trial)

Convicted murderer Sarah Boone will be wearing jail clothes and shackles/some type of device to restrain movement

Convicted murderer Sarah Boone's smirk will remain

Hoping the judge will give her LWOP

All my opinion only

She will not remain in the county jail. As you know she's a convicted murderer. She will go directly to prison. Appeals will be handled from her prison cell. jmo

And you can safely bet that any prison she is sent to will not be satisfactory to her and will be met with a barrage of complaints.

Feed is live, no audio yet.

SB is seated, chains at the waist and cuffs.

Quite a delay here. I wonder if that was SB's doing. Probably objected to State's Uber.

Sarah is busy shuffling papers. With her manacled wrists. Trying to look busy and important but falling short.

Defense counsel looks.... defensive arms crossed tight in front of his chest.

While we wait.
