Thanks for the update!

Not holding my breath that this trial will ever commence though. If and when it does, it might set a speed record. All the prosecution has to do is play that video and it's So Long, Sarah.

Will the trial be broadcast in real time or at least recorded so we can watch it at some point?

I'm particularly interested in following this one as I see that SB is an exceptionally difficult to represent client, IANAL though, and I'll be interested to see how it unfolds.

Someone upthread mentioned that the trial will be broadcast. (Not sure how accurate that info is.) IMO, CourtTV will carry it if possible as they have been following the case closely since the beginning.

Supposedly tomorrow (@pre-trial hearing) is the day it will be determined if trial will happen on Jul 24, or if it will be pushed out to a later date. Not confirmed, no factual info. MOO

SB's attorney Frank Bankowitz is supposed to meet with Judge Wooten on Jul 21 (yes, just days before trial) and it is my understanding that Sarah will be present at that meeting. Sarah also wrote another letter to the judge. All of this is moo

I know she hasn't been convicted yet, but I find myself hoping she's sentenced to a Samsonite.

#SarahBoone speaks with detectives after finding her boyfriend, #JorgeTorresJr, dead in a suitcase. #SuitcaseMurderTrial #CourtTV #CourtTVLive

#JorgeTorresJr cries for help from his girlfriend, #SarahBoone, while she laughs at him. Boone is accused of suffocating her boyfriend while they allegedly played a game of hide-n-seek. Do YOU think this was on purpose, or all fun and games?

Some thoughts about "hide and seek".

I'm speculating that Jorge hid in the suitcase, by getting into it and closing the lid. SB "found" where he hid, sneaked up on it, and zipped it.

But now, this brings us more to the realm of pre-planning, malice, intent, etc.?

I seem to recall there was something in her interview about how they'd brought the suitcase down from upstairs and were messing around playing a game to see if he could get in it or somesuch. The police interview is online if you search for it, she hadn't asserted her right for an attorney and she also had a LOT to say so it goes on a while...

I was totally prepared to believe she is / was an alcoholic, that they'd both got drunk, pranked around, that she'd decided to let him sweat it out in the suitcase due to feeling malicious and vengeful and left him for a bit, not expecting him to die, then fallen fast asleep in a drunken stupor. However, other people make good arguments that this was not the situation at all. In which case, how did the suitcase get downstairs in the sitting room and if it was brought down for this strange 'game' then how pre-meditated was this?
