Police identified Scott McNally, 57, and Randy Bokemeyer, 39, as the two men whose bodies were found last week in the Woodlands of Palm Springs community. Their deaths have been ruled homicides by the Medical Examiner’s Office. Police will not release the cause of death because the investigation is still open, according to spokesman Edgar Morley.

Last week, workers found the two bodies buried in an apartment patio, just north of Purdy Lane and west of Kirk Road. The workers were sent to the apartment to clean and paint the residence before new owners would move in.

"McNally was a cab driver for approximately five years. His boss, German Melendez, says the apartment where the bodies were found isn't completely random.

Melendez says McNally has dropped passengers off at that location in the past, and not long before both men went missing. Melendez says he reported McNally missing when he hadn't heard from him in about 3 days. He says he called everyone he could think of to find him, including the man Melendez describes as McNally's boyfriend, Randy Bokemeyer."

Randy Bokemeyer's FB: https://www.facebook.com/randall.bokemeyer

(I know the profile pic doesn't really look like the one being published, but it's just a bad photo. If you look at his others, it's definitely him.)

Last post (that we can see, anyway) was on September 6.

Thank you! I've been trying to figure out if they even knew each other.

Also from montjoy's link:

Melendez says McNally's cab was found not far from where the bodies were discovered.

"The lights were left on. The wipers were left on. The battery was dead and his license was in the car," Melendez said.

Not sure if this case was solved-
Suspected serial killer GOVAN KWAUHURU who is now accused of killing and dismembering a young gay man, Rashawn Brazell, in Brooklyn NY also lived in Palm Springs Florida at least during 2013/2014.
http://flvoters.com/by_number/1200/35106_kwauhuru_jon_govan.html

According to this the men were found buried in shallow graves under a patio where they lived
http://apps.mypalmbeachpost.com/homicides/detail/scott-mcnally-10132014/

So in other words, a probable serial killer who'd already killed a gay man lived exactly one mile from where these men were found at the time.

I have know Scott McNally since I was 17 years old, so I met him around 1980. Scott was gay, but he and my mom married as friends; he needed the appearance of a wife, and she got health insurance lol My mom stayed in close contact with Scott after he moved to Florida and we were all devastated when he was murdered. While they were long since divorced, my mother paid for his headstone, and called the Palm Springs police monthly for updates. My mom died several years ago and I think of Scott from time to time, always fondly, and I wonder if they ever found he & Randy’s killer. I just searched google, and that brought me to this community. I’ve already learned more about the possibility of a suspect from this forum than I ever did just by calling. I would love to know more, if anyone gets additional news please contact me.
If anyone can tell me how to go about finding the case number, or the officer in charge, I would very much appreciate it! Thanks, Cupc8k
