MIAMI (WSVN) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 36-year-old missing man.

Sean Michael Hinz has been missing for almost three weeks and was last seen in downtown Miami wearing a green University of Miami T-shirt.

Hinz stands at 6 feet and 1 inch tall and weighs around 200 lbs.

Circumstances of Disappearance Mr. Hinz went out to Momma Tried a bar located in Downtown Miami. He was then seen on camera crossing Biscayne Blvd and 8th Street. Mr. Hinz is not spotted on camera after that.

The anonymous texter alleged that Sean had been hit by a car and died while the driver was taking him to the hospital. The message warned Michael not to contact police, threatening that he would not reveal Sean's remains if authorities got involved.

Vicki was devastated.

"The most crushing part is the possibility that he is creating this scenario. It's a likely scenario. That's what's odd and scary about it," she said.
