Tallahassee man has been missing in Wakulla County for more than a month​

48-year-old Sean Reddish was last seen August 31 on surveillance camera inside Rocky’s Gas Station in Crawfordville, said his daughter Emilia Reddish.

His vehicle was found abandoned two days later just a few miles away off Spring Creek Highway, she added. Multiple searches of the area by foot and air have turned up nothing.

Reddish’s family said he loved to take pictures of nature and had just moved to Tallahassee a couple of months ago from Albany, Ga. He was working at automotive repair shop ‘Voltech,’ said his mother Wanda Reddish.

Sean is is 6′2 and weighs about 200 pounds. He is balding and walks a little bit “hunched over,” said Emilia.

I don’t see any updates on Sean’s case from LCSD. Recent life changes and a new job bring new people into your life. I would be starting there.

This doesn’t seem to appear as a voluntary disappearance. I hope they scrub his car for prints and foreign DNA.

UPDATE: Skeletal remains found off Apalachee are that of missing FSU dad

Police say preliminary findings indicate the remains are those of Jason Winoker, a Tampa man last seen in Aug. of 2021 a half mile away at the Sprinfield Suites Hotel.

The post described the remains as “skeletal” and said preliminary findings indicated the remains were human. It also stated that a group of people made the discovery just before 3 p.m. in a “heavily wooded” area near the 2600 block of Apalachee Parkway and immediately called law enforcement.

The area is located just across the street from a strip mall and in between two commercial properties. It is half a mile from the Springfield Suites Hotel where Jason Winoker was last seen in Aug. of 2021.

However, there are multiple people who have been reported missing in the area. Ali Gilmore vanished from her Tallahassee home in Feb. of 2006, 48-year-old Sean Reddish was last seen August 31 on surveillance camera inside a Crawfordville gas station, and Brandon Helms disappeared from a south Georgia home in Dec. 2015.

Seems like that area is a dumping ground of sorts with so many reported missing in the vicinity and one being found recently besides the newest set of remains.

The Cathedral of Palms trail is less than 2 miles from where Sean's car was found. Praying his family gets answers, even if they aren't the ones they hoped for.

An investigation is underway after someone walking through a wooded area discovered human remains in the St. Marks Wildlife Refuge, according to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office.
