Police say they later found his vehicle, a blue Kia Forte, with the licence plate FYZ-715, approximately 25 kilometres in the Ormand Crescent area of Mira Road in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.​

MacDonald is five feet nine inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds. He has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes.​

Police are looking to speak with anyone who was travelling on Highway 125 between exits 1 and 5 between midnight and 3 a.m. on Monday, July 8.​

Kenneth (Justin) MacDonald, 34, was last seen on July 7 at 11 p.m. at the Irving Gas Station at 183 Commercial Street in North Sydney, where he was spotted on store video.
