Recovered/Located FL - Sevyn Griffin, 7 months, & Alvin Burden Jr., 59, St. Petersburg, 6 Sep 2019

MISSING BABY AND GRANDFATHER

St. Petersburg Police need your help finding a missing baby and his grandfather.

Sevyn Griffin and Alvin Burden Jr. were last seen early this morning dropping off the 7 month old's grandmother in the 2400 block of 5th St. S. in St. Petersburg.

They were riding in a dark blue 2010 Chevy Traverse, with a crack in its left rear bumper. The license plate is BSE F56.

We are concerned for their safety and are asking anyone who has seen or come in contact with Sevyn and his grandfather (59-year-old Alvin Burden Jr.) today, to please give us a call.

They have family in the Tampa, and could have left St. Petersburg.

Police can track that baby down quickly even if grandpa won’t answer his phone. I hope he didn’t drive into stormwater.

UPDATE: Sept. 7, 7:26 a.m. | The St. Petersburg Police Department said 7-month-old Sevyn Griffin and 59-year-old Alvin Burden Jr. are no longer considered endangered and the missing persons case has been “resolved”
