The child who was last seen in the Walker Woods Apartments complex wearing only a diaper is about 2-feet tall and weighs roughly 45 pounds, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
The apartment is in the 2800 block of 71st Circle east of Interstate 95, north of State Road 60 off 26th Street, not far from St. John of the Cross Catholic Church.
Shamar Windhom was only wearing a diaper when he disappeared.

Windhom's father told police he had been feeding a younger sibling, and when he turned around, Windhom was gone.
“He looked upstairs and observed that the window on the second floor appeared to be pushed out, the screen appeared to be pushed out,” Flowers said. “He ran downstairs, did not see any sign of the child, and called 911.”

Indian River County Sheriff's Office is giving an update Wednesday morning in the case of a missing toddler in Vero Beach.

Flowers said hundreds of people from both state and local agencies responded to the search with drones in the air, bloodhounds on the ground and divers in the water.
One thing most concerning for searchers is the fact that Windhom is autistic.
“A lot of autistic children are attracted to water,” Flowers said. “There’s a lot of water in this area. You can see the pond behind us. I mean, everywhere around this side is all water.”
