Baker eventually detailed a night two weeks ago when Mercer sat on a bed and “said she wished that Shannon would disappear because Shannon’s not Rusty’s daughter, and she wished that Shannon was gone, so she could have a baby with Rusty.”

It disturbed Baker to see Shannon’s parents so uncaring, she said. She claimed there were many times she was allowed to take Shannon away for “as long as I wanted.”

But a stranger’s abduction was impossible, she said, as the family’s door remained latch-bolted shut every day, and “there was no way in this world that anybody could get in that trailer.”[/I]

Baker, in the middle of baby-sitting other children Tuesday night, said she wants more interrogations done in the case.

“They need to pin Tina against the wall … until she tells them what she did with that baby,” Baker said.

“Instead of chasing ghosts into the bushes and stuff,” she said, “they need to focus on that.”

I had not seen all of these quotes before.... had any of you? Is this old to everyone but me?

I have only one thought and one thought only:
In this world there are truly Evil people. They are just pure evil - plain and simple - pure evil. No motive just Evil to the core.

That's certainly true. But my impression is that evil people tend to have their own favorite ways of expressing their evil and have fairly consistent triggers. Not that I've done a scientific survey of this or anything. It's just that I seem to have established mental file slots for various specific types of child abusers/killers, and can't seem to find such a a slot for one that sort of randomly jumps around between methods/motives.

I don't know why but after seeing SB picture on NG tonight she reminded me of the mother in that movie Sybil. How Sybils mother totured her, abused her for all those years.

One thing, though... not sure if anyone has thought of this...

As a mother of three I know that around 7 months kids still need to eat and have diapers changed around every three hours.

Mine had a feeding and change of diapers around 5-6am, then another around 9:00am, then another around 11-12noon.

If the parents of this child saw her last around 3:00am, and the next time they checked on her was 11:30am?? ...

When did this baby have her diapers changed? When was she fed? By whom?

What was this baby's schedule?

At 7 months there were times my daughter would sleep 14 hrs. Most of the time she still sleeps 12. Sometimes if she woke up at 5 she might have a bottle and sleep for another 5 hrs. I can see how a baby could sleep long, mine sure had weird hours. As for the diapers, my doctor said to never change a baby in the middle of the night. He said put a dry diaper on before routine bedtime and avoid changing them if she wakes up during the night. IT would interrupt her sleep pattern and cause her to want to be up or something. I wouldn't change her if she just woke up for a second, which she rarely did. But if she was asleep for an extended period of time I did change her and sometimes she even slept thru it.

Also, I was finally (with help) able to get on her MS page. I can't get to any picutres. I'm not very MS Literate.
Anyway, I did notice she talks about going camping a lot. I wonder where? In woods or RV park? My mind went instanly to hiding something in those woods.
I hate to think of that.
I'd much rather think she is hiding Shannon in her spare bedroom or something and LE will carry her out tonight wrapped in a blanket as she smiles to her parents.

the great nieces she cares for are Tabs. I have seen pictures on Tabs MS of her with them. And the youngest is the one everyone was confusing with the adult named as a roomate.

IDK, it could have been set to private earlier. I am not so good at MS stuff.
You can still see a lot, but when you click on pics tab, it won't let you see them. Says it's set to private. So, maybe just that part has been changed. Is that possible? I don't know. But, I know people on here have seen the pictures because they have commented on the pics with the babies with the birds.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Those were exactly my thoughts after hearing about SB last night and then reading the letter to Crist, and then the DCF report. I think that she got tired of waiting around for someone else to do something and took the matter into her own hands.

What her motives are is what confuses me. Why is she wanting to remove this child from their parents when she obviously has NO love for any child--at least not going by her past history with little Paul and Nina.

I am really curious as to how many reports with DCF she has filed against the other nieces and grand-nieces that she "babysits."

Because she can't admit she has no love for children. She can only tell herself that she loves all children better than anybody else in the whole world. I think Not my Kids nailed her pretty well when she posted about how all of SB's fake MS friends made SB feel. Everyone one around her was having little ones and she didn't have one. SB decides that RD & TM can't possibly take care of a child, so SB should have that one (Shannon).

But, CPS and DCF did not see it SB's way. So.... letter to Gov'nor, inadequate response, so SB takes the baby. Now I think this is where the evil comes in..... she has the baby, she can't keep the baby, she doesn't really want to be responsible for the baby, but of course she can't take it back because RD and TM are terrible parents and they don't deserve the baby. So..... what did she do? I don't know of course, I can only speculate and I don't want to do that out loud yet

That is why I hate MS. All those stupid backgrounds get on my nerves. So here's a tip. On the top right of the profile page, click on "lite" for lite view, and it removes the background but leaves most of the original info as is. On the rare times I have to go there, that is how I keep from getting a headache.

I'm not picking at you. i just end up quoting you a lot.

How do we know the method changed? She beat the daughter, very well could have beaten Paul to death and did away with the body, and she could have done exactly the same to Shannon.
The motive is the sticky part, if it isn't a sick need for security, then I would be completely lost on motive.

if you click 'page' on your toolbar & go to the 'style' tab & click 'no style', you can read the page w/o all the graphics

Thank you for explaining that. I don't give a hoot about sports so didn't even know the World Series was going on. I was just starting to think maybe I should call the police about all the screaming I'm hearing from outside. I think you just saved me from getting on the local police precinct's "crazy ladies who don't have a clue" list
