I DON'T think that Shannon should be returned to her mother's care. But I would like to see the whole story come out and whether or not she was manipulated. My opinion is that reguardless of WHY, this mother did things that were NOT in the best interest of her child, she knowingly filed a false police report, and she put her child in jeopardy, as well as taking up valuable police and search resources/time/money that could have been used in other cases that greatly need them. Even if, best case scenario, she WAS manipulated, she has no business being this child's care taker any longer. But I think it's important to know all of the details leading up to this child being taken. If for no other reason, to hopefully find a way to stop something like this from happening in the future.
I keep seeing TM being referred to as being bi-polar. The only place I have seen that claim was in SB's email to the gov. SB certainly isn't qualified to make that determination. Was there an official diagnosis somewhere along the line? There have been so many details though I may have missed more about the bi-polar disorder.
I can't speak for anyone else, but raising a child who is developmentally delayed I know that his cognitive ability can appear to vary depending on the situation/subject. I also know that he can be easily manipulated (which scares the hell out of me). Because he walks fine (but hemiparetic) and speaks clearly, people automatically assume he should comprehend like a 15 year and it's just not possible for him.
On another site family mentioned TM was Bipolar as well as mentally challenged. Sorry I don't remember which site as my goodness I had so many windows open during this whole time lol I got lost myself!
correct me if I am wrong... wasn't the bipolar mentioned in the DCF report?
also, has everyone heard the interview with Beaufort LE on the SB case? sorry if it was posted already... he calls her a "wicked woman"! Very interesting... I am not all the way thru listening to it.

Read the CPS report. I'm not sure if the word bipolar is redacted or not, but the whole report (including redacted info) is visible when you print it out.
I'm basing the bipolar statement on that.
Did anyone notice gms and daughters nicely done fingernails?????? is that something you do when you know your granddaughter is missing and your child is mentally challanged and needs you?
All of this is JMO, but I also think we can trace SB way back and up to now, and see who else is missing. I really dont think this is just her seconded time at this.
October? Shannons mother is tiny? tongue in cheek? or have I lost my mind already again today.
