Someone posted earlier that AC does not live at the house next to Gano (with the camper). Who does?

I understand that it is faster to use only initials for people you are talking about but it really makes it hard for people just starting to read about this little girl or people whose computer quit and have been without one for awhile. Using initials leaves us not having a clue who is being talked about. Would it be possible to at least use the first name and last initial? It would be easier to try and find out who the person is if we had a first name and last initial. Thanks.

I don't mean to ask a stoopid question-- but I don't understand any of this at all. What does Haleigh, Caylee's grandfather, and the other mean?
Sorry to ask, but I am so confused.

Funny they say looks for cuts not scratches.

the fact that they say this is normal in cases where a child was most likely raped or molested, its only natural to fight back in defense cuts and scraps would occur regardless

Thank you. I did see that - but I was looking fro an obit for Robert O'Cain's father. First initial W.

This is as far as I got - but I don't want to pay.https://www.legacy.com/timesunion/deathnotices.asp?page=obitfinderorder&personid=120787889

The other searches give his age as 89 - but if he wouldn't have died in 08 at age 88 - that would make him 89 now.

Don't know if it would mean anything - just adding to our info.

Hmmm Are you sure his middle initial is an R? When I check Lake City Reporter's obit section all I get a W. "E." O'Cain. Age 73, of Lake City, passed away August 30, 2009. I'll pay the $2.95, if I know we have the right guy.

I know it's confusing -- I have the same problem sometimes. I choose to use initials so I don't violate Websleuths Terms of Service.

I was just stating that LE usually are at the home of someone abducted or missing... for safety reasons to the family or if a tip would come in they are there to get right away..

But I was saying about Haleigh's family that I don't think they had LE hanging around like other cases after so many days.. thats all .. didn't mean to confuse..

I shup now..

Sorry for not making myself clear. (I'm not great at posting)
All of those people have been killed in Fla over the past 2 to 3 years, and all have relatives in LE.

Just got home, no time to read backwards...
maybe this was already thought of, sorry if I am a repeat.
I had these thoughts and thought I would throw this on here.
IF a Rape...........male organ used as a weapon.....full of rage and anger
If a knife is usd.......very personal rage attack
Thrownaway like trash.........(sorry)......doesn't feel attachment to victim as human

Now, bachelor down the street, no kids, fussy? does he REALLY see kids as PESTS?

I also had a little neighbor girl that was sweet, huggy, clingy, ran around neighborhood alone, came to 'visit' for hours and allot of people considered her a PEST.
(not me)
She picked flowers from a couple that kept their yard perfect and they became UNGLUED!
so I am wondering about the neighbor collecting money, on TC needs attention, has no kids, lives alone and no one suspects him like the good guy in this!

I guess I am led to believe that LE has a real good idea who this person may be or wouldn't we have heard more on the family taking lie detector tests and such?

How is DT related to any LE???

I really think the most important thing to come out of the interview today is the highlighting of the car. This is the first time we've basically had confirmation that LE thinks the perp either grabbed her and put her in the car or parked when he saw her in a vulnerable place and attacked her.

The obvious question is why did he put her in a local dumpster or trash can when he could have just taken her in the car to a remote area? One logical conclusion is that he was afraid of being pulled over with a deceased child in the car. That raises the possibility of his tags being expired or him having some other reason that he would be more likely to be pulled over. He could have been afraid he was spotted also and didn't want to have her in a suspect car or been afraid of roadblocks though.

Insightful post Chili Fries. Brings up some questions for me...

1. Doesn't make sense that he would put Sommer in a local trash dumpster if he was in a car. Why not just keep on going? Were there roadblocks up that quick?

2. Where would he take a car that was safer than driving away?

3. Could he have tossed Somer in his trunk? If so, maybe forensics can retrieve carpet fibers that would lead to the car.

4. Was the car parked in a driveway - or beside a house - so it wouldn't look out of place when grabbing or luring Somer?

5. You suggest - expired tags..is it safer to stay in the local neighborhood with expired tags or get out of the town?

6. The abduction happened to quick, I can't help but think the perp knew exactly where he was taking her - seems to me he had a place to go and knew he wouldn't look out of place.

so far, nobody remembers seeing anything! This car stuff has me confused!!! help! :banghead:

I'm very interested in the portion of the profile saying the person may have changed religions recently.

Anyone have any insight on that?

I understand that most people who do this do so to stay within WS guidelines. However, it did take me a long time to figure out what the request for the picture of MH was, so I understand where you are coming from.

If it will help, these are the guidelines I followed when creating the Who's Who (on Websleuths) in other cases. I tend to create it first and edit it to these standards later.

No personal information (address, phone number) of anyone.

If an adult has been named in mainstream media or public information, you may use their first and last name; otherwise, use only first name and last initial.

If you are not sure, use first name and last initial of name.
In some instances, I chose to use first name and last initial even though the person had been named in mainstream media.

If talking about a minor, initials only. (identified may need to follow if same initials as others) In case of victims siblings, first name seems to be okay since their names are in mainstream media.
