It just hit me looking at the picture - I wasn't purposely taking a picture of the trash can - I was capturing the volleyball court with the sand... but look at that trash can. Nice sized one, isn't it.

Yes it is..These trashcans are also the type that the trash truck pulls up beside and an arm comes out and picks them up and dumps them from the top of the truck.
There would be no person picking them up and dumping them.
It would look to be that the park does have a maintence person because this trash can would need to be wheeled to the pickup place for the trash truck, and also would not look out of place if seen around there taking the trash to the curb.
For some reason this is the type of trashcan I feel she was put into, just because no one physically gets out to look at the trash.

"Police said the child was walking from a bus stop at 2:04 p.m. Wednesday when the man grabbed her by the hair at the corner of Hubbard and Clara avenues."

"The child screamed when the man grabbed her ponytail braids and started dragging her backward, Massey said. A car drove by and scared the man, and he let go of the girl."

"The child was running home crying when a Police Athletic League worker saw her and took her home, Massey said."

So....I am thinking a commercial dumpster. If Orange Park has their own collection , I assume the trash goes to a substation then transported to the landfill. I wonder where the commercial trash goes ie Apt buildings etc.

The first incident was inside the school!!!!!!!!! YIKES!!! I bet a janitor!! Remember that one RSO was a custodian at a school board!

I have been asking myself why Somer had a habit of not going straight home after school.
Was there a problem at home?
And why did the family not stop this habit?
Did they all think it was okay???
All 7 year olds I know run home, have to go in the house, drop everything at the door, go straight to the bathroom, then yell "I'm hungry"........yes some daydream and dilly dally but this is a long walk for a 7 year old.........did she drop everything and potty at the public park bathroom?

Not necessarily commercial as Zone 2 has residential areas and it looks like Keystone Heights might be similar to Orange park....local might let us know if that is correct.

Anthony's can't because their dumb daughter didn't report her missing so - that cancels out stranger abduction off the street. Had Casey been remotely smart she would have called 911 immediately and claimed Caylee was snatched from her bed at night like the Cummings.

I am still stuck on CWG and more so than ever. It is possible since he is last person on report, he could have been stopped by PO while canvassing the area and not the know the family....but if that is not the case and he did know family I would not be surprised either.

However, after coming across some pictures last night, not showing mom in the best of light - I think theses were discovered on thread 1 but I first saw them last night. I have a new opinion. I think with lifestyle, it is quite possible that a person could have been around Somer and kids that should not have been. And it is seeming to me that this person could be a serial perp but knew the family and they had no clue.

I agree, I don't think Kellum is our perp either. But I do think Jones could be.
