On the Florida Sexual Offenders & Predators website there is this:

The thing is is that this person would have to know that LE and searchers would be out looking for her, it would be just a matter of time.
One would think that they would not be in the immediate area of where searchers would be searching unless they already had her in their home hidden waiting to put her in the trash when the time was right or in a vehicle.
They would also have to have a vehicle there is no way they could have moved her without being noticed LE was searching all through the night although now that I think about it maybe no one noticed because their were so many people out looking for her ?

What is our time frame again for Somer ? 2:45 - what time was it that LE actually started searching for her 5 - 6:00 ish ?

I really wish we knew what was found at that house to know for sure she was there...

I have been asking myself why Somer had a habit of not going straight home after school.
Was there a problem at home?
And why did the family not stop this habit?
Did they all think it was okay???
All 7 year olds I know run home, have to go in the house, drop everything at the door, go straight to the bathroom, then yell "I'm hungry"........yes some daydream and dilly dally but this is a long walk for a 7 year old.........did she drop everything and potty at the public park bathroom?

I have wondered the same thing. Inigo child comes to mind. I went on about this yesterday. LE only spent about 6 min in the Restroom to retrive a bag or something.(accordind to earlier reports)

I don't know, but I wonder if Somer had been being groomed by someone. Perhaps someone she had met taking shortcuts to home or just wandering around neighborhoods as some kids will do even walking to a friends house to play. Just a thought..

If I am correct the sun goes down about 5pm ish in Fl. this time of year. My gut feeling tells me that Somer was murdered within a 3-4 hr window. I am basing this on the idea that the perp would not want to be seen disposing the remains, yes she might have been concealed in a bag, tarp etc. but I am sure he did not want to be seen by anyone.

I completely agree. There was such a limited timeframe for someone to grab her. And to complicate it further...time to get her into the vacant house if that is the case. If they didn't have a car then they must have had some kind of vehicle that fit in...as I brought up earlier...a groundskeeper with a cart or wagon or something.

We have to remember the soot that was on her little body? Was it someone that worked at the house..or was she actually there...also..a park costodian removes soot from grills ..in a park.....i don't know..this case has be so confused.

It has been stated several times in media that the trash around her body was from her neighborhood. I am not sure of how they define neighborhood, though. They could mean within blocks or within miles.

Something I found interesting driving around her neighborhood today. There is an apartment complex (on Gano) with a dumpster near the front of the entrance to the apartments - it's between the school & the burned house. Her little body could have been put in that one, cause I'm sure they're emptied weekly. Does anyone know which apt. complex I'm talking about?

When I was in elementary school 50 years ago, they called it Inclined to Mischief. I got it on my report card every time! I wish my parents had known then that I was really an Indigo child.:woohoo:

Well... my son (with ADD) definitely would not come straight home if he had to walk. He is a stop-and-smell-the-roses type of kid. If he were walking home with someone whose house were before he reached his own, he would most likely stop with the other kid and talk for hours.

Thank goodness he's not a walker...

soot is on barbeque pits abd burning barrels.........but I think it does come from a burnt house.......LE collected allot of bagged stuff from there IIRC.

I think she had a hx. doing this as friends tel#'s were on the fridge. I believe DT informed SP to call around for her.

Couldn't have said it any better myself passion.
Obviously no discipline in place-- hence providing the babysitter with a list of friends and phone numbers to track down her 7yr old daughter.

Also- why tell the media/public that Somer didn't do this-- she didn't raise her kids this way. THEN low and behold the babysitter spills the real deal, and provides very important information that LE needed!! Additional info to boot-- Somer liked tree houses & swimming pools.

When a child goes missing EVERYTHING needs to be disclosed no matter what. IMO
