When we were all discussing why dad SAM was not in obituary of SOMER,
I was reading some articles from Thread 2.........I came across a quote from SAM.
He says "Your dad SAM," maybe he is not her bio dad. And in obit it does not say born to Sam & DT. Maybe that is why he is not mentioned?
How long were they married? Are any of the children his? JMO observation..........

Jeez , If we knew where she was last seen by sibs , we could possibly track down where she might have gone. So, am I correct in saying the young fellow was the last to see her by the tanks or was it Kyle at the house? If she did not make it to the Guard crossing by the "burnt home" on Gano, she must have gone somewhere from Gano or....

I too am still trying to figure it out.

That's right - if they didn't want it public it never should've been public to begin with. When you put something on the internet, it's there for everyone to see. And, it's there forever. Once public, always public. There are ways to find cached sites, there are backup servers that store things indefinitely. Maybe this should be a lesson to all of us to watch we put "out there"...

I thought she was married 5yrs first time--- 5years 2nd time... ??
If I add up his time in Iraq and coming home the twins would have been
maybe 1yr old when he left for Iraq.

Maybe he adopted the twins..? Or with him being absent DT instructed them to call him that.

More sleuthing to do on the dates of marriage/divorce. Heck I still can't find out if the 13yr old is with DT or bio dad....

I think Somer 's eyes were very similar to his, I thought he was in fact the bio father of Somer and her twin, do not know about AT (the 10 yr old). Older bro not the same father?

This article says DT has "two children remaining".

Did I miss something? Which of DT's 3 remaining is no longer?

IMO, massive errors such as this discredit the entire article, and any future info brought by this source should be roundly scrutinized. Perhaps they'll come forth with a correction. Don't hold your breath, though.

I know what you mean yesterday I found an article on Somer, but they used Haleigh's picture (no mention of Haleigh in the article)...good grief.

According to Missing Person Report, sister says she last saw Somer going west on Gano near intersection with Solomon.

Connie S.'s daughter saw Somer walking west on Gano near intersection of Grove Park Drive.


I'll add those intersections to the map I posted and repost here. Placement of stars is estimated. Wanted to leave street name visible.

Street name Solomon didn't show so I zoomed in and put insert on here too (green outline).

1080 Gano in green.

The house at 1080 Gano is between Solomon and Grove Park Drive ... so did she double back after she was seen by CS? How close to Grove Park Drive when she was seen? CS said she lost sight of her in group of kids ...

FWIW, Gano and Solomon is where the Google picture goes fuzzy. Did I read somewhere the googlemobile was there that day?

Some keep expressing their wish for their own forum, but in the meantime, I don't understand why we can't organize your information here in this forum on a new thread.

Can't you start a thread here anytime and have sleuthers load their maps & facts onto it? Clearly state the topic/purpose of the thread in it's name. Clearly state the topic/purpose in your first post. You might consider making it a "reference - no-discussion" thread with Maps and photos only, for instance. You might make it a "timeline - no discussion" thread. Just for example. Has anyone tried this?

No. Not THAT day. Previously, though. And it caught a photo of two little girls on Debarry - one looks an awful lot like Somer. Spooky. No one else on the streets, really. Lots of lonely stretches, which is odd. If you'd think they were taken about the same time then it seems other kids would be out there, too. The two girls have on backpacks as if coming home from school.

Look at the street view - you'll find it.
