Would an old-time sleuther help out a relative newcomer, here?
I, for one, get totally confused w/all the initials that are being used. I've looked at the Terms of Service, (the long and short ones) the stickies on this thread, and everything else I could find.
Nowhere does it say we cannot use names.
If it's a rule, of course I will abide by it. And if it's not a rule, why do we use initials?

I posted a side-by-side comparison a few pages back. Different ears. Different eyebrows. But VERY CLOSE and TEMPTING! Would be great to make that connection... but not so sure it's there.

If the DNA isn't a direct match, or not on file, LE/FBI will be able to have it tested and determine the bio-geographical regional ancestry of the perp.:

percentages of European, Sub-Saharan African, etc.

This was done in the Baton Rouge Rapist/Murderer case to rule out certain suspects, and also in the Bike Path Rapist/Murderer case in Buffalo, NY.

Somer was in a garbage can/dumpster prior to garbage truck so how much does all this limit the ability to get DNA? :waitasec:

Anyone know where the jr high and high school is for Orange Park? I wonder what time those kids get out and if they take a bus back into Orange Park, and if so, where the bus stops are. I hate to think of it being a minor who committed this crime, but I think it's something to at least look at since she was put into the garbage and just due to her age. Seems like there have been instances of teen offenders in the murders of younger children.

And does anyone know if they use those fields at all this time of year? The practice or playing fields across from the 1080 Gano address? Are there ever people using the tennis courts that time of day?

I am hoping that there will be excellent DNA samples obtained, the soot alone is an excellent conduit for a fingerprint etc. Body fluids, blood etc. I am hoping they will have something to tell us tomorrow , oops today. In regard to the DNA testing, I hope the Creep's DNA is in the Fdle's data base.

I agree. REALLY so close in a lot of ways, but then... ultimately different. And thanks for posting the side by side.

Thanks, cathdawg. Maybe we can both learn something. And I know there are a lot more of us now, due to poor little Somer, so we're not the only ones.
Another thing is that in Etiquette and Information it states:

thank you so much for that. I'd say that knocks out the middle school kids unless they skipped sixth period - which means that Somer's older half bro would have still been in class also at the time she went missing. I'm guessing the high school probably has similar hours to the jr high?

Someone asked if Homer Spires is Debbie B's brother. I have not found any such evidence.

I do see a sister and a possible half-sister for Debbie B.

But I see nothing for Homer. No sibs, no family, no one attached to him at all.

The only thing I did find is the 2 addresses where he once lived. I also found out that he has been on the run for at least 3 years.

Only thing I see with reference to hours for high school is:

CELL PHONES
Students possessing cell phones, CD players, beepers, CD players, MP3 players, and other like devices, during school hours (7:15 a.m.-1:40 p.m.) must have them turned off and in their backpack or locker. A discipline referral may be issued to the student if the device is used during school hours, or interrupts class in any manner.

And I still want to know about the Vinson's sister. I tried sleuthing her last week, to no avail, but I'm not as good as some of you at that stuff.

Vinson's sister claims her bro (rso/g) told her he would often find empty beer cans in house when he'd return in am..It may be true there was a way in but how can we believe what seems to be such an obvious attempt to point away from ykw!?

Apologies for my "cryptic" long post several posts back. I couldn't post last names, I'm sorry!

I realize there might be major confusion with the last name letter L. So let me share this:

- A letter which stands for a last name is the same last name throughout the list. The only variation from this is the letter L for DT's last name - her L stands for Lamb and the other L for the other people (Jennifer, Joseph, etc.) does not.

Does that help?

The C last name is one that you should know.
The L (not Lamb) and Ch last name are new and you probably do not know of them.

I'm posting this link about the contractor's brother just for info and because it shows what I think is a side view possibly? Of the property.

If his prior is indeed a statutory offense, then it really may not be an issue. I can't remember how we know that it was statutory, other than that the brother said that to a reporter - and it seems to match with the age of the victim as under 16 years instead of under 12 years. Of course, someone who worked on that property who didn't have an SRO record would be checked by LE I'm sure, just due to proximity. And in fact, there's nothing to say that we're going to find that this person has a record. Plenty of sex offenders either don't have one, or they don't get caught until they are well into a lifetime of offending.

Since this is another day without facts being released. I for one would like to know if big brother was actually in school. Not to hard to ditch with lack of parental supervision, truth be told. I could be entirely wrong over and here welcome to admit it if that the case, but I can't see why not LE doesn't come right out and clear the family. Hell, in the Billngs case they even claim they will never investigate the family and I KNOW FOR A FACT the HINKY stuff that has gone on there. So, the is just proof that LE lets info go by the wayside. I won't go into thoughts about potential S Abuse, will leave to for the rest to figure on your own. I can't post links to anyone who has not been named in the media, broke that rule earlier because so many people don't do their own sleuthing and then we get bashed for trying to relay info.

Hell, we dont' know anything factual in this case. I am only going by what we have been told and some the sleuthing process. I could care less who is guilty and who is innocent, I only want to see justice for Somer.

That's pretty early. I wonder how far away from Somer's school/home that is and whether kids are bused to her neighborhood. I'm sure that many of them have cars or at least the use of a car to get back and forth to school. Some probably walk if its not that far.

If they really get out at 1:40 they wouldn't be on the streets with the younger kids but they very easily might be home alone at that time...
