I do not know who the Father is for any of her children. After 3 marriages and a new live in before the 3rd marriage is settled, I tend to agree you with on the live in not staying around long. Not because he would bolt, but because DT just doesn't seem to stay with one man.

I am well, just catching up on all the cases. This case hits me because I think I was so much like Somer when I was a lid. Although many years ago. I was the youngest of five children of a working Mother and as hard as she tried - I never minded or followed any of the rules. The older ones did. They came right home from school, changed their clothes, did what they were supposed to do. I would maybe go home with a friend and stay until their supper time, and get home in dirty school clothes in time for my supper. I spent a great deal of time as a parent telling my Mother how sorry I was for what I put her through. All of the cases we hear about and follow upset me a great deal but this one reminds me to be grateful to the Angel who looked after me as a kid.

fwiw....I think they were married in 1999, that being said....I remember something about ST had not seen Somer in 2 yrs....if that is correct....then we don't have 10 yrs yet.....anyone know when they separated???

hi cam... are you sure the jh gets out later than the elementary school? That is odd as usually they get out earlier and then the hs even earlier yet. I will check.

I am pretty sure about the times gypsy....High school lets out earlier, but Jr. High dosen't let out til about 3:40...something like that.....let me know what you find out...

I just gotta, just gotta... If the date on those pics at the Holloween Party are correct then they say 2005.. I see no ST in them .. But he could of been overseas.. We don't even know what state she was in at the time.. hmm would like to know tho.

Main Point here is tho.. Can't go by the date on a pic the camera left .. Can we Cam????? lol lol sorry girl just had too. I read all the comments .. Cam why does your pics say such and such date... lol just made me giggle and chuckle..


yes, ST himself stated he hadn't seen The children including Somer for 2 yrs and it was 2 months since he talked on the phone with her..

I have wondered if the children ever got BD cards or any holiday cards from him .. I won't even mention presents.

........I seriously hope that this GC SO on bay circle was thoroughly checked as he has a white van, ton of vehicles even a homemade trailer, and I hope all of them were searched with dogs.....If witnesses recall a strange white van at the scene I think hes hinky.....as well as didnt a cashier recall someone with reddish hair? He could have a different hair style or rid of the toupee.......jmooc

That is a good question. Maybe because Somer wasn't feeling well that day. I know I was always a little more edgy about situations when one of mine weren't 100%.


I got two questions:

1. Does anyone know what was wrong with Somer on October 19?

It's not unheard of that some kids pretend to be sick in order to avoid school, for their own particular reasons. Or, was she really feeling sick?

2. Does anyone know the nature of the "argument" that made Somer so upset that she ran away from her brother and sister?

Versions of the argument vary, depending on the source. One is that she got into an argument with her brother, another that she got it on with someone in her walking group, some say she got into a fight at school. In all versions her older sister tells her off and Somer rans away.

These things may not be important to the case, but clears out some questions, at least to me.
