I work at a school and now I've been really watching (not in FLA). There are so many people around and cars, etc. How would a car even pull over in traffic without being noticed?

I don't think that is the scenario.

I think that LE is waiting to get all of it's ducks in a row as they don't want to let this one go.

I know that they don't tell parents anything much about the investigation. It would never be kept quiet as they would have to tell just one person, etc etc etc.

I think the SO with ST is totally coincidence. There are plenty of SO's doing stuff where I live. I'm sure it's true everywhere.

Well that media briefing was a waste of time... the only thing different I got out of it was this investigator is glad the emails & calls are coming in.

Mindhunters: Finding Unknown Killers

<snipped>
McCrary and Douglas developed the technique in the 1970s, giving birth to a new FBI unit devoted to the psychology and science of analyzing violent crime.

“Psychopaths commit crime because, why not? They have no compunction against hurting others or killing others,” McCrary said. “They’ve done a lot of brain scans and their brains actually fire differently than the brains of non-psychopaths.”

“Often times, the killer is the person in the community you don’t see,” Perry said. "You don't see an Igor as a serial killer. He's no smarter than a bucket of hair. It's this guy, the smarter one, able to move in the community and not be seen."

The behavioral analysis process, once called profiling, can help investigators after all leads have been exhausted and the case is stalled.

Good afternoon,
I finally got caught up on all the posts. I would like to respond to those who think I should go to Florida and work with an LE sketch artist. First of all I can't afford to fly or even drive to Florida. I also can't afford not to work (no workee no payee) during that time. Unlike many of you, I have no expendable cash. Even if I got that far do you really think that LE would waltz me right in, do a sketch and then put out an APB based on a "Vision"? If you believe that then I'll have what you're drinking.........most of the folks on here don't believe me, why should LE? I will go so far as to say that what I get is not 100% but I believe that most of it is correct.
The dogs-I believe I said that I THINK they're boxers, I just looked for a second to see if they were really there. I did not see the father, but Somer said they were "Sampson's". I assumed that was the sire. The dogs on Craigslist were the wrong color from what I saw, mine were a tan-red color. Buff I think they may call it.
The house-I wasn't studying the house I was looking at Somer. It was brick, single story (I think) attached garage. Nice house.
I believe the reason no one saw Somer get into a car is because she did it willingly and it seemed natural. The eye usually catches something that doesn't fit and I'm thinking a lot of kids get picked up by that playground.
I'm not on here to convince anyone that I'm right. I know in the end it will all come out and I'll either be proven right or wrong. Either way I am trying to do what I believe I can to help get justice for Somer.
So just maybe instead of thinking I'm "farfetched" or "hard to swallow" if you could just give me the same benefit that you would any other person with a "theory" and just think "could be" that would really be nice. Thanks for your time!

I thought you live near DT in orange Park - no?

I explained this before...I am from alamance county in NC, I moved to jax when my mom married my step dad.. also from al co, nc. (his was navy). ST is related to my stepdad. I live off exit 3, off 295, with my son and his family in jax, sometimes I live here at my house in nc, sometimes I live with my mom in St, marys ga, rite across the line from jax.
My step dad was terminally ill and i took care of him til his death, he left me the house there. During this time i was reaquainted with ST, who is my "cousin". ST had just left my house to go home when my daughter in law told me about somer missing ( just a regular phone call telling me whats goin on at home) Then I put it together and went to ST house. that was wed morning... Friday I went back to jax...now I am here again. and I wanna go home...

If Somer was on Gano and got in a car, wouldn't someone have seen the car stopped there? The street view does not seem like you'd want to pull over there, so maybe a car in the parking lot of the park?

Are cars ever parked on the street in those neighborhoods? Seems like everyone has a driveway ...

Just wondering where vehicle could be parked that it would not draw attention from someone.

IIRC, the 1080 fire damaged house had been under repair since the end of May. Over that period, there would have been a number of different vehicles parked in front of the house. It's entirely possible one more would not have attracted undue attention. MOO

Infinity,
You are absolutely entitled to your theory - and I for one like your theory & read every one of your posts! I appreciate you coming here & giving us your visions... at least it keeps us looking in directions that otherwise wouldn't have been explored. You don't owe anyone an apology for anything. If they don't want to read your posts, they'll just scroll past them. Did you get a chance to look at the picture of that kid whose dad was running for sheriff?

I agree that most wouldn't be paying attention unless someone was screaming for help.. I think back to picking my children up at school and the children would tell me about their day and we would talk and I wouldn't notice no one else.. but if someone was screaming and acting like in trouble I would of noticed..

I wish I could say no for certain, but I'm just not sure. Take away the facial hair, wash the spikes out of his hair and it could be him. It's so hard to tell from one picture when the look is very similar, it's a lot easier when it's a definite "no way is that him". I think I look a little different in each picture taken of me. He has the right body type and height, and from the story I read it seemed like he could be a real charmer if he wanted to be. I have to put him in the maybe catagory.
Thanks so much for your kind words!! You know it took my family a long time to "get it", now most of them are scared to talk to me since I've dreamed every death (which is quite a few) in my extended family since 1998. I guess I shouldn't expect it to be any different here, but don't worry I'm not going anywhere until Somer's killer is caught.

Thanks, I was wondering if she ran up to the house and said "Great job" or whatever, then backtracked to the tanks, where the young boy say her and said she had a frown on her face. Just maybe the creep was around the tanks, waited for work to cease on the Gano home and......

MommaD, you're too kind as well! The garage seemed clean, except the side that had the puppies and momma dog, lighting wasn't the greatest on that side which is where they were as well, it was not cold at all. It looked like one side was cleared so that someone could park in there, but I don't feel like it was his parking spot. I don't recall much on the floor, except cement of course. I'm thinking clean, no stains. As he was (Gee I hate typing this!) choking her it was as if I was standing over top of him, so my attention at that point was on that heinous act. I believe the hammer work took place somewhere else outside, not at the house. I hope that answers your question
