Hi everyone. I'm new to websleuths. Until the recent unpleasantness, this site has been one of the most positive on the Internet. I hope it stays that way. I can't stand the attacks on either of Somer's parents. Even if they aren't perfect people, they are her Mommy and Daddy and she loves them. If we say we care about this sweet child, let's be kind and compassionate concerning her grieving parents. Also, for the sake of the other children, who will hear about rumors and whispers from other kids, let's not make their world even harder than it already is by adding to their pain and confusion. If we really care about how they are doing, let's be a little more tactful and considerate. :twocents:

One difficulty I have with websleuthing is closed doors. We can track Somer's path along Gano and mull over all of the little details, but when we get to an interesting person or fact, the doors close: LE knows about it and is looking into it and can't say anything. I totally understand LE's silence, but how can websleuths get any more details when we can't go question the people or find out what their alibis are? It just seems like we're driving ourselves nuts. (I say we 'cause I've been reading these threads and trying to sleuth on the internet on my own.) Some of you have been at this for a long time. What do you do when you constantly run into closed doors?

But I think we're most productive when ideas are tossed back and forth and theories put out there and revised.

As far as running into closed doors, I keep an ice pack handy.

Actually, what helps me is looking at someone else's line of thinking.

Also, I'm working on getting my pages of notes into some order so you all can have them as a reference. Right now they are in a Word file and I just threw things in there as they came up. I hope to put them in a Scribd file.

I was just thinking, Sadnpod, maybe ST would have more luck if he contacted LE in Texas where CWG lives. He could identify himself, say he has some unanswered questions . . . they may be more helpful and forthcoming. Just a thought.

I don't know what happened just a few ago. I can only imagine from chiv's posting as being the mod here..

That said , I know this won't be favored by many but it has been said before by many posters in a sorta way .. not word for word tho.
these are my words.

Dt opened the doors for websleuthers to come in and check her out. She asked for publics help.. at the vigils at press conferences..
No Stone should be unturned because of feelings or consideration. A child of 7 was murdered.. when sleuthing I thought we were here for the victim .. yes we really try to be kind to family ... but if it leads us there then what just forget it?

Look how many crimes are committed by a family member and everyone is like I never saw that coming ???

Just the little 5 yr old dead from accused mother selling to sex slave. the aunt saying she would of never thought mother would do that..

See?? happens daily... I am not saying dt or st or anyone in family killed somer.. not at all.. but they should not be neglected either . LE hasn't cleared a one of them.. NOT A ONE.

Where is sp???? never saw him at funeral any of the vigils.. media coverage is none... why hiding ?? he is supposedly no more of a witness than anyone else.. and suppose to be such a very VERY good friend of DT..

Noway, your map is incorrect. The burned Gano Street house is much closer to Grove Park Drive. It's west of Bay Circle. Also, on the police report it says that CS saw Somer walking west on Gano near Grove Park Drive. We don't know that she ever crossed Grove Park Drive. There is a crossing guard stationed there I believe.

I still think, given the information in the public domain, that it's logical to believe Somer was abducted/attacked on Grove Park Drive south of Gano. She could have very easily walked through the corner yard at the Gano/GPD intersection and not been seen by the crossing guard. As I've said before, Grove Park Drive is a through street so a predator could have been passing through and happened to see her. There is also a semi-secluded section with houses on only one side of the street.

ONE thing that just came to mind, after reading your words CLOSED DOORS.....what's the one reason - in a criminal investigation and/or regarding the release of evidence - where we would see CLOSED DOORS.....?!?!?!!?!?

How about in the case of an underage perp??

I didn't see that she said this in any of the other interviews that all seemed to happen on that day, and I wondered if anyone knew the order in which the interviews were taped or conducted.

It's not so baffling when I'm the one asking. I just plain forget some of the info - and not just on the forum unfortunately. I'm trying to develop some better method of record keeping now so that I won't keep bugging people with the same ?'s.

That said . I have to tell you I am so very very proud of my fellow websleuth posters.. I asked after told you about the moon and to rehash to correct any mistakes or rethink information given.

And by golly you all have just floored me .. I have been reading and reading .. have a lot of questions about your thoughts..

I can not tell you all fellow posters how proud I am to be a poster with you.. Most of you go beyond the scope of what is expected as a regular poster of a forum... And I thank you so very much for caring about these missing and violent crime darlings.. yes I say darlings they are all darlings to me cause I am so old... even the 20 -40 yrs olds are darlings to me..

I hope rehashing has helped you all too. . I noticed a lot of new information and new outlook come out.. great work..

I've had a question that's been knocking around my head for awile. If S. got into a fight at school, was it possibly like the hair-pulling, hand-scratching kind? I thought maybe that's what later argument was about with siblings. Them confronting her about it, and her being offended, mistaking them as taking the other kid's side.

If so, is it possible that's where dna under nails speculated about came from? A lot may be hard to track because it would have come from school, none of whom are going to be exactly in a dna database somewhere.

If this has been discussed please overlook, I read through many pages back, but it's hard to keep track of it all.

But if everyone remembers a poster here helped search for somer and she talked to the 2nd cross guard and they said they didn't see somer that day. so 2 of the 3 guards didn;t see somer.. the one at grove and debarry..

That is why I think kyle says he is the last one to talk to her or see her.. she didn't make it to 2nd cross guard.. but would le tell him this?? After seeing all the other mistakes I cold see le doing this..

Could dt and flagged officer asked worker at house if saw somer that day when they were checking around with ac..????

MommaD, SP has given me the creeps since the beginning of all of this. How do we know that he stayed put and did not go pick up Somer himself in his car? Or, if by some possibility, she got by the crossing guards without being seen and made it home? Then SP sent AT out two times so that he could have more time to secure Somer in his trunk? Maybe Somer's twin was busy in his room, but AT would have seen something - so he sent her out? His line of business is really strange to me. Someone had asked if Somer were an Indigo child - due to the fact that SP and DT were such good friends. That was a very good question. Does anyone know? Anyway, SP is on the top of my list of suspects.

Tarabull, good thought. An underage perp could explain why a dumpster within the neighborhood was used. I wonder about an older sibling or a gang of kids getting back at Somer for the earlier fight with a child, and things getting waaaayyy out of hand.

That was from interviews taped last week.

I don't know the order NOWay but I tell you this she needs to say it herself if she wants others to believe it .. I think I recall her saying this one time a while back in a video. but I don't know what all LE would tell her just to console her.. and not be a fact... the wording perhaps . they don't THINK it is anyone she knows.. so they could be wrong..

just my thoughts.. I don't see how they can say anything like that and not clearing no one yet..

NOT CLEARING no one is really puzzling to me after a month..

ST hasn't even been cleared..

I know why I think they won't let more info come out . They want good tips and leads not some wacko calling up and wasting their time.. I am sure they have learned lessons the hard way on this one .. plus the sunshine laws in florida. so LE has 2 things against them if info leaks out.

The only thing that's incorrect now is the turquoise star. You had it right before. The tanks are on the southwest corner of Gano and Solomon.
